I dont see how this could work without Lich Bane or Infinity Edge, but i wont just downvote.
It seems alike no dmg but i will try it... Wish me gl! :)

The reason this build works (For me, anyways) is that it allows you to capitalize on her passive, Valiant Fighter. The Rod of Ages serves more purposes than just providing you with AP. It gives you the mana to start playing really aggressively, as well as the health to sponge up damage before you start making use of your passive. Take note of how much health I build.

Poppy's damage will come from the Trinity Force, most of the time. Devastating Blow will do both magic and physical damage with Sheen procs, making it hard to counter her with items. The damage isn't an issue. If you need an explanation, I included a section explaining all of my item choices.

P.S. Good Luck

Excllent guide, almost perfect mastery page! That's because you should consider to put 2 points in Tough Skin instead 1 Armor and 1 MR point, so that you can play more offensively. It is really something I can recommend you, because it will help you to defend yourself by paying back^^ It depends on the play style^^ I see that you play more defensively... so that choice is ok.

Now your items: GREAT CHOICE! I really like your item choice, it is something new! I never thought about mixing it like that!

Your runes are very good for that build. Nothing you could change here^^

I like it as a guide overall, and it's nice to play Poppy in different ways :) A few problems:
  • You don't mention how to lane
  • You can't start with philosopher's stone, I would start with Doran's Blade or boots with 3 pots.
  • I would like more options on the build (try dividing your item chapter into "core build" (items you need to get every game like Sheen) and "situational items" (items you can choose)

Hope that helped! I like your guide, it's a +1.

Well, the reason that I put Philosopher's stone as your "Starter" item, is because it doesn't really matter how you get there, only that you get there. Your first back will see you getting this item, as well as Boots More often than not, and if you followed my personal summoner suggestions, teleporting back before you are missed.

Furthermore, I only put the major purchases, because different games have different purchase order needs and allowances. Kind of think of it like those great big road signs you see on the side of the highway during a roadtrip. These let you know that you're going in the right direction.

All of that said, I will keep this in mind, and if more people suggest it to me, I will add it.

Thank you for the +1 and the review.

Oh, well thank you. As I said a lot in the build, this is something I found a good deal of success with in my own Poppy games. I thought it would be worth sharing. Thanks for reading!
