I have to agree with you that my hybrid build's burst is not as absolutely gigantic as a full AP Twisted Fate. But,

I would like to point out that the burst does come in very close, doing more like 80-90% of the damage including your Hextech Gunblade.
Also, I am aiming more for sustained damage with this build. In a fight, if you manage to stun a squishy, chances are your whole team will converge on the poor victim, killing it anyway.
Another thing, I want to maximize your usage of Stacked Deck. I think it's a fantastic and underused skill. I often find myself auto attacking after my combo is blown and not really bringing much more damage until I get a skill up or a Stacked Deck proc.

You could either 100-0 people, or do 50% of a squishy's HP and hope you stay alive long enough to autoattack them to death. There's a good reason most people stack AP instead of doing a hybrid build: it's just better.
