Hey, I haven't touched this build in....god knows how long, and I still play Irelia a lot today and I STILL prefer her as a hybrid. Already, thank you for even viewing this guide and I hope you'll enjoy my playstyle of Irelia, the Will of the Blades.

Pros:
- amazing solo top
- amazing lane sustain
- crazy burst damage with hybrid build
- can 1v1 almost everyone
- is feared amongst most players
- is really fun to play

Cons:
- hard to play
- kinda squishy early game
- needs a lot of farm

This rune set-up works really well, I have tried others, but these ones just sort of...make everything awesome, ya know?

Ok so for the marks we got 9 marks of desolation. (armor pen)
For the seals we have 9 seals of alacrity. (attack speed)
We also have 9 glyphs of fortitude. (health)
And to close out the runes we have 3 quints of potency. (ability power)

I follow a 21/9/0 build.

It's almost like a standard offensive tree build for any hybrid, and the defense tree i get the extra armor, magic resist, and the extra health, because extra health makes all the difference.

EARLY GAME:
SHEEN, REGULAR BOOTS, ZEAL

MID GAME:
TRI-FORCE, BERSERKER'S GREAVES, GUINSOO'S RAGEBLADE

LATE GAME:
HEXTECH GUNBLADE, FROZEN MALLET, ABYSSAL SCEPTER.

I differ from basically every single Irelia build. I get one point in Bladesurge at level 1 and I just leave it there. I level up Hiten and Equilibrium Strike so that i can get the maximum true-stun burst damage. Basically your sequence is gonna look like this

LEVEL 3: E
LEVEL 4: W
LEVEL 5: E
LEVEL 6: R
LEVEL 7: W
LEVEL 8: E
LEVEL 9: W
LEVEL 10: E
LEVEL 11: R
LEVEL 12: W
LEVEL 13: E
LEVEL 14: Q
LEVEL 15: Q
LEVEL 16: R
LEVEL 17: Q
LEVEL 18: Q

I run exhaust and flash on Irelia because they are just too tremendous on her. Other viable options are: ghost, ignite, and teleport. But teleport should really only be taken if you think you can't get to your towers fast enough, other then that I really think teleport isn't even that great of an SS.
