Introduction

Hello Everyone this is my first guide and I am going the explain the versatility of Shaco, not just choosing AD over AP, but when you mix the two together you can become extremely dangerous.
With this build you are going to find out that you can have you cake and eat it too =)

Runes

Greater Mark of Desolation Because Shaco is essentially melee, Armor pen is a must.

Greater Glyph of Force In Dominion everyone easily gets to lvl 18 so these are you best bet to throw in the mix as your AP build

Greater Seal of Furor Since critical strike is a big deal with shaco, this makes for heavy hits in the back.

Greater Quintessence of Potency Your ability power increase, since we need AP to be hybrid.
Greater Quintessence of Desolation You are melee so this is a requirement no matter what.
Greater Quintessence of Furor Another piece to your bread and butter since attacks from behind someone increase your crit chance.

Masteries

I basically went All 30 points in the Offensive tree taking all AB/AD/Crit i could grab, everything flows nicely together in mid to late game.

Skill Sequence

In Dominion i take 1 point in this to start, it is one of you main key to survivability in the beginning of the game

In Dominion i take 2 points in this to start, this will be your main attack in the beginning of the game and be sure to always try to get a shot in the back

I grab this as soon as i hit lvl 4. I use it to set on all the med kits on the map. someone going for a fast heal when their almost dead, can be an easy kill for you even if your not around.

This to me is my bread and butter, save it for more tanky toons, use it, get behid them and crit away, or you can use it to escape if team fights are getting to heavy to handle.

Summoner Spells

I use ignite for early game only, when taking the first points an easy kill or 2 makes for a quicker build and staying ahead of the game

I use flash simply because Shaco is too squishy to ghost out of a team fight, you need quick retreat along with a Deceive and you sure to survive every time.

Items

Are a must have, Some people prefer magic penetration, and it's good for increased damage. However, I personally prefer being able to run between lanes really quick, in hopes to snag a quick kill.

This is you second most important item, its provides Critical strike, AP, AD, Life, and Attack speed, which is everything you are looking for when going hybrid.

This is also a cake topper for a Hybrid Shaco, it adds Attack damage, Ability power, and the Attack speed proc is crazy.

This is the closer to the whole build and probably all you can afford by the end of the game, again adds Attack speed, Ability power, and cool down reduction.

Other Item options

This is a good substitute for guinsoos rageblade if you want to lean more towards AD and have a little life steal on the side. This also adds to crit which makes it a decent choice.

This is always a good choice playing any melee, again if you want to lean more towards AD the is also an option.

You could also go this route if you wanted to lean a little more towards AP and do away with Nashors tooth, this will throw in life steel and Ability power, but a bit pricy.

Jack in the Box

Jack in the box placement:
Most critical placements are on the Med kits, can make for an easy kill if someone is almost dead looking to get a quick heal.

Conclusion

As I said this is my first guide any input or changes you might think i need to add please post at the bottom. Remember, Shaco is a very hard toon to learn to play with, he takes time and dedication to get used too. Give my build a try and see what you think. GL/HF =)
