Introduction

This guide is meant to be built like a akali with attack speed. You are very sustainable early game but are mana reliant so use your spells when you need to. During in the middle of the game you are pretty beast when you have your lichbane built up, hitting hard while spamming that crystal slash. Late game you will initiate after your tank to pull their carry with impale and easily shut them down and win most team fights and that will of the ancients doesn't hurt either. 1v1 is fairly easy because your shield will absorb lots of damage. Now onto runes.

Runes

These marks rip through those enemies with your abilities but landing your first q is necessary because the after affect does magic damage, and this why we have ad quints to have this q do more damage. The reason for the health per level is to scale better late game and have a health advantage at early levels. Now for the glyphs, the attack speed is for your passive to kick in and reset those spells fast while those ap carries can't rip you apart so fast when your immobilized or silenced.

Items

These items make you stick to your enemy like a bug. <(^.^)> You can switch merc treads to ninja tabs if they have atleast 4 ad on their team. You are a very supportive aura bot that is scary to be around ( for the enemy ).

Summoner Spells

Flash is a obvious tool for escape, engage, or just to catch up. And exhaust is very useful in those team fights to single out the carries from damage or just like the use for flash. It is good to synchronize flash with your impale so you can pull them towards your team.

-Makes People Rage Quit

Unique Skills

Use your impale to make them go into skill shots or stuns like Morgana's ult. You can exhaust people in your ult. If you have blue use your q when your walking around to keep your Lichbane up and rageblade stacks up.

Summary

Skarner is a very viable laner due to his heal and when he gets spell vamp it is just gg. All these items that he has on him. He is underrated but he is actually very good.
