Introduction

WARNING: Using this build will make noobs rage, but of course, that is why we are all here...

This build is a guideline for playing a powerful AP and attack speed TF with significant damage. Please feel free to modify this build to suit your playing-style, as I am still testing out the build myself.

Using this build gives you a more balanced TF than other AP or AD builds. He also has slightly more survivability. Of course everyone has builds that they like and dislike, but I found this build to be the best suited to my style of play.

Please excuse my crude sense of humour, at least, if nothing else, this guide may be a memorable one for you. :)

Is Hybrid Twisted Fate good? Does using this build pull me more women?

Yes, and yes.

I used to play a solely AP Twisted Fate, and as amazing as his Wild Cards damage was, I felt that he did not have enough constant damage, as my desire for nipples left me wanting to destroy mortals in a matter of a few, short, sexy seconds. AP Twisted Fate also neglected Stacked Deck, a very handy skill.

Then there was the other popular alternative. AD Twisted Fate. For Gaylords. We all discovered, the hard way, that AD TF is absolute rubbish. Flame me if you wish, but AP TF far outweighs his AD counterpart, and is also about 18 times easier to play. Trust me, my nipples have seizures whenever I play AD TF.

So then I thought, "What would happen if some smart sexy-ken combined both builds?" It was a spur of the moment kind of thing, as I was already in game. My team wanted an AD TF and so as per usual I told them that they were all raging homosexuals. I proceeded to build an attack speed Twisted Fate, which gave me 2 double kills in quick succession. I therefore concluded that an AP TF with decent AD and attack speed was a very viable option...

As mentioned before, use Hybrid Twisted Fate if you want more survivability and constant damage while still maintaining extremely powerful skill-shots.

P.S. Women love a Stacked D*ck

Skills

In my professional opinion, Twisted fate relies solely in picking the right cards under pressure and hitting his Wild Cards. TF is a great ganker, but you have to be able to pick the right card for the job. You have been warned.

PASSIVE: LOADED DICE

A handy passive. Twisted Fate grants team-mate 2 gold per unit kill. Even if you feed, tell your ungrateful team-mates that you are giving them gold and then proceed to flame them. Works 38% of the time...

WILD CARDS

As a Hybrid TF, Wild Cards is your main damage source, although not essential. Hitting with them is easy. The noise Wild Cards make when passing through enemies is so ******ic, so sexually relieving, that enemies will actively seek out your cards just to experience it. It is therefore not acceptable for you to miss with your Wild Cards.

Use your Wild Cards to hit enemies behind minions. That way, in the rare case that your opponent dodges, you will still receive minion farm. Another suitably trollish idea is to hit enemies with one of your side cards, as this is at least 28 times more satisfying.

PICK A CARD

This is one of the most important skills a TF player should master. Picking the right card is the difference between you being a Twistedly Awesome Fate, and a Twisted Fatality.

BLUE CARD

Blue cards hit with extra damage and restore some of your mana. Use them to regen mana, last hit minions, and to deconstruct towers.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR FACE WHEN YOU PICK A BLUE CARD WHILE GANKING!

RED CARD

Red cards slow and apply AOE damage to grouped enemies. Use them to farm and harass grouped enemies. It is acceptable to accidentally select a red card when ganking, but I am still not responsible for what happens to your face.

GOLD CARD

Obviously spoilt as a child, the gold card is stunning. And that's about it. PICK THIS CARD BEFORE USING YOUR ULTI TO GANK. Also use it to initiate or engage.

STACKED DECK

Stacked deck does extra magical damage every 4 attacks. This means, more attack speed, more magic damage. Aaaah you see now. Malady and Rageblade work well with Stacked Deck.

DESTINY

Destiny is Twisted Fate's ultimate. On activation, Destiny reveals all champions (including those stealthed) for a short time. Twisted Fate can then use Gate. After a short delay, Gate allows Twisted Fate to teleport up to 5500 units. Although this number is reduced from the range of pre-nerf Destiny, it can still get you, almost, from lane to lane. You can use this skill to escape from battle, (taking damage while teleporting does not interrupt it), to move about the map, or to gank. When using this ability to gank ALWAYS HAVE A GOLD CARD SELECTED PRIOR TO TELEPORTING!

Turning an enemy team into minced-meat before Gating away is a sure-fire way to completely wet your pants with joy.

Starting Items

Ahhh, the most interesting part of this build. Of course, feel free to use your own items, but this build is just the most effective that I have used.

STARTING ITEMS

DORAN'S RING

A solid choice for all AP characters. Gives you extra health, mana regen, and ability power. I usually choose this as my first item.

BOOTS AND 3 HEALTH POTS

Gives you good movement speed and lots more survivability. It also allows you to counter that first blood Ignite attempt.

SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL

If you have no idea what mana conservation is, or you hate fapping around with round-a-bout builds get this baby first. Builds into Sheen, which is an almost must have on Tiwsted Fate. This item does, however, leave you some-what weakened, with no extra health or ability power.

AMPLIFYING TOME

Probably wouldn't get this item first, Doran's Ring is superior by far, but whatever floats your boat...

Early Game Items

EARLY GAME ITEMS

SHEEN

Sheen is a great item for Twisted Fate. Its ability to buff your attacks after skill use works well with dealing un-expected damage with your cards. A seemingly unaware bogan Ashe will not expect you to land a Blue Card, Sheen buff and then Stacked Deck, meaning that you will completely destroy her before she can fart out a blizzard. You can build your Sheen into a Lich Bane or Trinity Force, depending on how you feel and what opponents you are up against.

ZEAL

I usually buy Zeal for the attack and movement speed. While not essential this early in the game, it doesn't hurt having this item before starting on Guinsoo's Rageblade, which is quite expensive to build early game. This item builds into Trinity Force

BERSERKER'S GREAVES

Which boots Twisted Fate should buy is extremely situational. I usually buy Berserker's because it gives more attack speed. Other acceptable boots include Boots of Swiftness (if you find yourself too slow), sorcerer's bootsSorcerer's Boots (if the enemy is building MR) or Mercury TreadsMerc Treads for that extra tenacity and MR if needed.

Mid Game Items

MID GAME ITEMS

GUINSOO'S RAGEBLADE

This item is a major buy for a Hybrid Twisted Fate. It gives AD, AP and attack speed, meaning it slots in perfectly with and Hybrid champ (eg Jax etc.) While only TF's Wilds Cards scale off AD, it is still useful in bursting down enemies. Combined with devastating attack speed the longer he stays in combat, Rageblade makes Twisted Fate terrifying to face.

TRINITY FORCE

Trinity Force is a good item that gives Hybrid TF a variety of perks, from additional attack and move speed, to slows and buffs. Sheen and Zeal build into this item, so if you are taking either of those, Trinity Force is a solid option.

LICH BANE

If you are wanting a more AP sided Tf with magic resist, Lich Bane is a great choice. Building this on a Hybrid TF is slightly contradictory though, as Lich Bane is more suited to an AP TF. Therefore I usually only buy this item if the enemy team is building a lot of AP.

STINGER

Stinger gives more attack Spped to TF. It is not necessary to buy this items mid game, save up for Nashor's Tooth, which gives additional AP as well as CDR and mana regen. If you are farming well or getting fed, feel free to take this item early.

MALADY

Malady gives good attack speed, AP and MR shredding. This item, like many others, works better on Hybrid TF the longer he stays in combat. This item is better earlier on in the game, so if you do not have enough money for this item late game, do not worry about it.

Late Game Items

LATE GAME ITEMS

IONIC SPARK

Ionic Spark gives good health and attack speed to Hybrid TF. It also stacks really well with Stacked Deck (excuse the pun), giving you over 200 extra magic damage every fourth hit (almost every 2 seconds).

HEXTECH GUNBLADE

Another great hybrid item. Gives some nice life-steal and spell vamp. Not very necessary, but trollish nonetheless. Not many games will go long enough for you to get your last few items. They are very situational, so feel free to experiment with them.

MADRED'S BLOODRAZOR

Gives AD, AS and a bit of armour. Good for busting down those tanks. Not likely you'll ever have enough to buy this item. Puts the icing on the Twisted Cake :)

VOID STAFF

If you're looking for that extra kick of AP and Magic Pen, this is the item for the job. Although leaning towards a more AP TF build, which is does not pull you chicks, this is still a great item for a Hybrid TF.

Summary

IN CONCLUSION,

A Hybrid Twisted Fate is all you will ever need to beat up noobs and tell those ignoramus' that TF is well and truly a viable option.

I hope you enjoyed this guide, and that it brought you heaps for success and IP. Feel free to add me, and pleeeaaa***eeee rate this guide, making us Hybrids all the more popular.
