Introduction

Don't start voting yet, I haven't finished the guide yet.

I'm Selutu. This is going to be my first guide on Mobafire on one of my favorite champion, Dr. Mundo. Please give reasons if you decide to vote down on this guide and I will try to get back to you on that. Advice is also well appreciated. Anyways back to the guide itself.

Well... Where do we begin with out Mundo? I assume you have all heard about the un-killable Dr. Mundo build, but have you ever thought that any champion will be just able to walk straight through the whole enemy team and destroy the Nexus Turrets and the Turrets all by himself? To be perfectly honest with you, the build I'm going to give you can't do that, but it is the closest it can get.

Lore

It is said that the man now known as Dr. Mundo was born without any sort of conscience. Instead, he had an unquenchable desire to inflict pain through experimentation. By the time he was five, most of the pets in the Zaun neighborhood where Mundo grew up had gone missing. By his teenage years, his parents were nowhere to be found. By the time he had legally acquired his license to practice medicine, he had been acquitted of thirty-eight separate charges of murder by the Zaun authorities; the lack of evidence made prosecution impossible.

Dr. Mundo has become equal parts serial killer and mad scientist, though no one is entirely sure how his butchery qualifies as science. However, he has made tremendous strides in mapping the pain response in the human brain and body, going so far as being able to suppress it, even in the most excruciating of circumstances. He has also tapped into the primal parts of the brain through chemistry, learning how to enhance aggression and adrenaline, as well as dulling conscience and the survival instinct. In short, Dr. Mundo's life's work has been how to create the perfect science-enhanced killer. Unfortunately, the city-state of Noxus regards such behavior as a sign of initiative and ambition, rather than inhumanity. Originally fighting for Zaun, Dr. Mundo was recruited to also fight for Noxus in the League of Legends; the Madman dual faction status represents the fruits of a blossoming relationship between Zaun and Noxus. He continues his experiments to this day, even using himself as an experimental subject, as evidenced by his disfigured appearance and his... unique manner of speaking. There are rumors that the High Command in Noxus has given him free reign to pursue his life's work in his spare time.

Beware the Madman of Zaun. In his eyes, you are already dead.

Pros/Cons

Pros:
- Huge damage
- Can be one of the best tower-divers
- Can take down Turrets all by himself
- Un-killable Tank
- Crazy heals
- Nice harassment
- 0 deaths when played right
- Easily solos Barons
- Can achieve fast Penta-kills

Cons:
- Ignite or anything else that prevent heals seriously hurts Mundo
- Early game sustain is kind of... Bleh
- Can't spam skills in early game
- Bad reaction will lead to death since you can't press R in time
- Hard to pull out the build if you have had a bad start (although killing the dragon once or twice solves the problem)

Summoner Spells

The ones I chose:

Ghost itself is a great Summoner Spell that would give Mundo the speed that he lacks with this build in early game. Sure you can go ahead and ignore this, use something else and buy a Phantom Dancer, but wouldn't that just be a waste of money and space when you can just save up for Warmog's Armor?

A lovely Summoner Spell that allows you to take initiative, wall jump and escape. Works wonders on all Champions and Mundo is no exception since you can Flash straight to the enemy and start damaging them with Burning Agony turned on.

Other possible choices:

It's good enough early game, but I wouldn't take it since with a proper build, Mundo doesn't need anything else to heal him.

It's nice to prevent escape and stuff, but I prefer Ghost and Flash over it.

Just don't take:

Are you seriously going to ask me why? You don't use MP, why on earth do you want to restore MP? It's just totally worthless to you.

Skill Sequence

Adrenaline Rush:
This is your passive and what makes Mundo work. Each second you regenerate 0.3% of your maximum HP, so more HP = more HP Regen. This is also what makes Warmog so amazing on Mundo.

Infected Cleaver:
This is your Q skill, your slow and your nice little ranged attack that can potentially deal lots of damage. At level 1, it already deals magic damage equals to 15% of the target's HP, which is pretty amazing. It's definitely a good skill to start a fight with. But don't spam it too much at early game since that 70 HP is a huge chunk out of your HP pool (35 HP if you manage to land the hit, but that's still quite a bit when you use it a few times). Although... At late game, just spam it as often as you can, it doesn't really matter on who/what you hit.
This skill also serves as your harassment, which can prevent your enemy champions from farming creeps. It can also work as a kill steal and if you're jungling, it would allow you to steal the enemy's blue or red buff.
I took this first since it deals some nice damage and it can be use to harass. The slow can also potentially give you an early kill.

Burning Agony:
This is your W skill. A really nice Toggle that damages enemies around you and reduces the duration of the slows and stuns on you by 15%-30%. This allows you to run away quicker and also allows you to farm quite a bit. Maxing it out gives you a high DPS and allows you to deal with 2+ enemies at once. But sadly, like your R skill, it takes quite a bit out of your HP pool in early game, so just turn it on for a few seconds then turn it back off.

Masochism:
This is your E skill and what makes your damage sky-high. It's a really nice skill, but the only reason I max it out last out of all the skills is because when facing ranged enemies, you really need to close the distance first, which is made much easier with the cleavers and Burning Agony helps you escape easier.

Sadism:
This is your R skill and your Ultimate. Although it doesn't deal any damage, it is crazy. This is what allows Mundo to walk up to a Turret that has 100% HP and bash it does alone. This also allows you to tower-dive so much easier by increasing your movement speed and your heal. You only pay 20% of your current HP to heal 40%-60% of your maximum HP.
With this skill, all you need to do against a turret is:
Target the Turret -> Click R -> Click E -> Wait for the Turret to crumble
