Introduction

Hey guys my name is ItzElfy and I made this guide for one of my alltime favorite champions on the rift, Rek'Sai and now upon the release on the new Jungler item Sated Devourer I decided to test out how it works with Rek'Sai and what it's Pros and Cons can be.

Masteries

As for the Masteries I prefer to play at 21|9|0 to maximize my damage output and Jungle clear speed whilst still being able to sustain trough it all which give her a very nice and fast clear of the Jungle.

Items

Okay as you might have noticed the item build I put up is more of an aggressive offtank build and can work really well if you have significant mastery of Rek'sai and knowledge of how her skills and mechanics work.

1. First full item you take a Stalkers blade for that chilling smite which steals the enemies movement speed and gives it to you which will work really good with the other items in the build.

2. Your second essential item is the Frozen Mallet which will be giving you that 700hp and the Slow upon hitting an enemy with a basic attack which will help with chasing down enemies.

3. Randuins is also a really good combination with this so you can even further slow down enemies and make it even harder for them to escape especially if you have a team mate with any kind of Crowd Control (cc) with you.

4. Hydra or Warmogs really depends on the situation you are in and what your team demands if your team needs more Aoe dmg take Hydra if on the other hand it needs more tankyness take Warmogs.

Playstyle

Moving onto the playstyle Rek'Sai herself has many different ways in how she can be played, You can play her as a very durable Tank/Fighter or you can play her as an offtank which is the way I prefer to play her.

Early Game: Now to play Rek'Sai with this build path and according to this guide you need to not be afraid of the teamfights and you need to focus more on stacking your devourer until it becomes a Sated Devourer at 30 stacks during the early game (<20mins),
Ganking at first shouldn't be a problem and your team should be able to hold their own until you stack up but you should still gank as much as you can once you get your first back Devourer item.

Mid/Late Game: Now from the midpoint on try to gank as many times as possible and apply pressure to the lanes that need it and when a teamfight starts always be close to your team and not wandering around on your own.
Now when a team fight starts your role is to dive into the backline carries (Adc and Mid) and try to keep them away from the fight or even take them out which would work more in favor for your team once the carries are separated from the fight try to help your team kill as many of the enemies as possible and advance the push.

Jungling

Okay so for this build to work to its full efficiency you will have to spend a fairly large portion of your time killing Jungle camps and Scuttle crabs to stack up your jungle item which in the end will help your team out alot with taking out priority targets and dealing damage overall.

Remember that killing large jungle camp monsters & buffs gives 1 stack each,
scuttle crabs give 2 stacks each
and epic's (Dragon and Baron) give 5 stacks each
