Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Ahh so you've come here to read this Teemo Guide. It looks different and i guarantee: Your enemys will be surprised as well.
Since this is my first Guide i hope i dont do anything wrong. I am also open for discussions in order to improve this Guide.
Teemo is often found useless to the team in mid- and lategame. According to some people if you pick Teemo, the game is already lost in the loadingscreen.
So what's the problem?
It most certainly is true that Teemo is often seen feeding lanes due to his small body measures. But if you follow this guide i will teach you how to play a frequently underestimatet top/midlaner who can adapt to almost any situation and is quite useful to the team.
Pros / Cons
Now i am talking about the pros/cons as they come with THIS Teemo:
- Huge laning potential against most champions
- Great map control
- Good dueling
- Deal good damage in teamfights
- Hard to gank
- Great waveclear
- Needs a lot of "feeling"
- expensive items
- often gets focused
9x Seal of Armor
9x Glyph of M. Resist
Teemo is squishy. In early game its important to not loose the lane, so i recommend to use sustain glyphs and seals. The enemy will most certainly try to fight you since a Teemo is always easy to kill. You will need sustain.
9x Mark of Hybrid Penetration
Since your auto attacks deal both kinds of damage, it is logical to choose these runes.
It also helps you poke stronger in early-game. Also you are free to adapt your damage type to the resistances of your enemy. Overall these runes grant you a high damage output on your lane.
1x Quint of Movement speed
2x Quint of Ability power
A movement speed Quint has good effect on teemo in order to avoid damage and catch up on enemys that are running away. It also helps you to avoid being ganked in early. In adition to your W this gives you eanough movement speed.
The other both AP Quints are needed to build up some early damage. You want to harass your enemy as often as possible. You may also use 1 AP and 1 AD Quint.
I strongly recommend a 17/13/0 build for both AD and AP offensive damage and the rest 13 in defensive tree.
You will have good damage wich you can adapt to your opponent. If he buys MR, go for some AD first and vice versa.
The sustain you get in defensive tree stacks up with your GA and Wits End giving you some resistance in later teamfights.
The items shown above will grant you quite good damage and some sustain.
Since the Ruaans procs the mallet, Liandrys and Wits End its a must have.
You can slow, damage and leech MR from 3 enemys, giving you great teamfight abilitys. Although you dont have much AP the Liandrys and WitsEnd will melt your enemys.
Feel free to use a Hextech gunblade or a Bloodthirster instead of the Witsend if u feel you need it.
Finally the Guardian Angel prevents you from being focused too early and if u still die, you can come back, drop a Shroom, Q somebody and get one or two autoattacks out wich will slow 3 enemys.
You can also swap the Guardian Angel for a Sunfire cape or some other defensive item if its adequate.
If you handle this Teemo right you will win most of the lanes.
You can waveclear really fast and also push towers.
This makes you a good splitpusher who can 1on1 almost any champion. The enemy team will have to send at least 2 members to kill you and even then you have a great ability to run!!!
Due to your multiple on-hit effects and your sustain you bring much to teamfights.
I hope you enjoyed this Guide. I know its not quite finished yet but i wanted to release it in order to improve it with your help.
Before you rate it, try it please!!!
