This is my Amumu build.

The skills:
Start with your stun once you have it no point in leveling it till the end as it just increases damage done but not the cooldown nor the length of stun. Your tantrum is your last hit killer spam it often for menion kills. Your primary damage dealer to heroes is despair also this is good for farming menions in lanes. Curse is used to stop those running away from you when bandage toss is on cooldown.

Summoner spells:
Cleanse is your saving grace, and teleport helps with lane farming and getting to turrets to spam despair and tantrum for massive gold farming.

Item selection:
Start with health regen and a mana pot, finish the philosopher's stone asap (early amumu really lacks on mana) using teleport to get right back into the lane. At this point you can skip buying the boots to save up for a sunfire cape, me I find that mobility is helpful but again personal choice. Once you have a sunfire cape you will find that your sustainability is very nice, yes its worth it to get before upgrading your boots (you know this if you skipped buying boots at all :D) as with all builds you will find boot selection more of a situational dictated as opposed to a set in stone build. Now that we have health/mana regen out of the way, mobility taken care of, and with the sfc we have decent armor life and passive damage, we start working on casters, the next two items are interchangeable if your facing heavy caster dps then build the banshee's veil first. If not the aegis will help your carry partner as well as you. Next comes Rylai's this slows enemy movement by 15% as long as you have despair active, this allows you to keep the enemys close dealing damage from both the sfc and despair. Lastly if you have money in a long game sell off the philosophers stone and get the lich bane.

This is a survivability build designed to break opposing heroes moral. You are very hard to take down and your despair sfc combo deals damage very quickly. The more health they have the harder that despair hits them for, after you have banshee's you should be able to solo barron gaining your team a much needed buff and cash income.

Please if you down rate this build comment. Thanks
