Threats to Illaoi with this build
|Nasus||One of the easiest matchups for Illaoi early and midgame, and even lategame in some cases. Harras him with Q and E to make him run back to his turret, where he'll start spawning tentacles due to your E. Go in with W only if there are 2 tentacles near you that can hit him.|
|Teemo||Usually annoying, totaly useless against you. With the masteries and your Q, during laning and even when he reaches level 6, you just regain too much health for him to damage you correctly.|
Welcome to my very first Guide on mobafire!
I'm a pretty recent player myself (well, not really new, Ive been playing for around half a year and reached silver 2 near the end of season 5.
When Illaoi came out I instantly decided to buy her and play her as a AD offtank as she dealls so much damage due to her % on her skills.
Runes here are going for extra damage to deal even more damage to the poor faces you'll be slamming with your tentacles!
In lane I usually do this:
E and then Q for harras
W + E + Q for a never able to miss E, and extremely high damage from the Q that comes last.
When having ult:
W + E + R + Q
Your Ult even spawns tentacles for ghosts hit created by your E! use this to your advantage in big teamfights to suddenly spawn 6 tentacles to deal MASSIVE ammounts of damage!
When ganking (rare)
Try using your E from the sideline if the enemy is hugging the wall, and harras him from over the wall so your opponent be like: wdf is happening?!
If not, jump on him with your W, (unless you can hit your E easily) and if you can't get close to use your W, use your W on a minion instead, then quickly catch up to use your E to have either your laner or you attack the spirit, while the other one goes after the real body, usually killing the target or sending him towards hell as a vessel (GOOD LUCK RECALLING!)
Pros / Cons
High damage at early game and late game.
Incredibly good sustain with her Q and lifesteal masteries.
Good zoning potential.
Incredible low mobility.
Like almost no crowd control :C
Fast champions will take no damage from any of your skillshots.
Can use quite a bit of mana when spamming abilities during laning phase.
I know this guide probably didn't help a lot as it's my first and also haven't played Illaoi for a long time (since she came out today) but I'll keep updating the guide when I learn something new about her!
Also, another guide on this ILlaoi page should be out by around tomorow.
