Welcome to the worst Lux Guide

In this guide you are going to be able to learn some aspects of AP champs not only for lux. this build can be used on Mid lane and bot lane for support it doesnt matter.

Before proceeding, lets analize this build:

- PROS -
High Cooldown reduction
High Mana regeneration
Good Magic resistance
Good Magic Penetration
Amazing actives and passives for extra damage
700-800 AP at champion lvl 18 with full build

- CONS -
Low armor
Low Healt
Not a beginers lux build

Magic Penetration Runes
Just in case you don't know, magic penetration runes will allow you to inflict magical damage in to an oponnent even if he is wearing magic resist. It is very important for all AP champs to consider Magic penetration on runes and items. That is the only way you are going to avoid the other team to spam magic resistance and neutralize your champ.

So we are following this advice and using 9 Magic Penetration Runes for this build.

Ability Power Runes
This build is Cooldown Oriented, we want to spam lux ultimate as much as we can in the whole game to get a real advantage in fights, however the first 10 levels you will be low on AP, this runes will help us the have an extra boost.

It is going to be hard for you to complete all the items in this build, most of the time you are going to end having shen blade when the game will end, even if that happens don't worry the last 2 items just come to secure an extended late game in where many people does not really know how to play and builds start getting neutralized from other players playing defensive mode, you will be prepared even on that situation.

Dorians Ring
Lux consumes a lot of mana, and we will be fixing That in this build. Dorians Ring is a great start for most of all AP champs because of the extra health and Ability power that provides you and not only that you are going to gain 5 mana regeneration which makes it the best pick.
Normal boots
Because yes !
Kage's lucky pick (READ IMPORTANT)
This is gonna be your third item which will give you the first AP boost. After buying this your last hitting will be so damm easy, try using prismatic shield and explode in to minions. then basic attack each one, that's it you will be picking easy gold.
Fiendish Codex
Is there any other item better than this? 30 Ability power, 7 Mana regeneration and your First 10% less Cooldown for only 1195, WHAT A PICK !. By the time you get this item you are going to be level 6 already, get ready to spam your ultimate cause the fun starts here!

[Fast Tip]
When playing MID, I like to use my first Ultimate to scare the enemy. Most of the time I will trap him with Light Binding, then use Prismatic shield, Basic attack, ignite, then Ultimate, then basic attack .... If he survives, he is going to have so low health, that he will better go to heal.
Deathfire Grasp
Your Last item just gave you a great advantage on your enemy, but you still had low AP right ?
Guess what... Deathfire Grasp will give you 80 ability power, and your second 15% cooldown boost.

Hold on ! Wait a minute, does this item includes an Active?
The answer is YES ! This item's active will reduce 25% of the enemy's health plus 4% per each 100 ability power that you have. By this time your total ability power will be around 120 so this makes a total of 29%.

Isn't that great? Well, this item also has 750 range just like all your spells so you can throw this as part of your combo and will be ready to throw again in just 1 minute.
Athene's Unholy Grail
Time to finish fixing Lux mana consumption and boosting your cooldown to the limit !

80 Ability power, 15% cooldown, 15 Mana Regeneration and an amazing passive that will restore 12% of your total mana each time you kill a champion or assist your team, you will gain 1% extra mana regeneration per each 1% mana you lose.

Press C, and check your cooldown, by this time your ultimate will last only 36 seconds. when you get to level 16, you will notice that your ultimate lasts 26 seconds HA !

SPAM YOUR ULTIMATE, KILL LINES OF MINIONS WITH IT, DON'T GIVE A **** .... YOU ARE NOT GOING TO CARE ANYMORE ABOUT MANA OR COOLDOWN, ITS YOUR TIME TO SHINE !!
Socerer Shoes
Because You are a socerer! Don't waste time trying other boots you need Magic penetration and this boots include 20 points of that.
Needlessly Large Rod
The exiting part of this build is over kids, from now and on we will be building AP.
Get 80 Ability power for 1600 gold, nothing exiting but worths it.
Rabadon's Death Cap
I was only joking, 140 AP and a unique passive that will boost our AP by 30%. Come on!!! I know you were already owning people, why should we get more AP?

The answer is simple, the more AP the more fun you get.... OKAY ?

[Fast tip]By this time, every ultimate you make will case tremendous damage over enemy champs most like half of their healing points to AD carry, AP mid and support champs. and over 40% to junglers and tankers. Make the most damage by harassing with your Prismatic shield, and use your ultimate. USE IT LIKE MAD !
Elixir of Brilliance
Do it, you can play around with this and get some wards as well to support your team on map control. By this time you are going to be part of a lot of teamfights, you better have an extra AP boost before you get your last 3 items.
Shen's Blade
Time to play smart, do you know Shen blade's passive?
NO? come one is this the first time you play the game?
This guide is not for noobs, get out of here!!

OKAY OKAY, I will explain... Each time you land an ability, your next basic attack will inflict 100% extra base damage. Doesn't that reminds you of something?
NO? come on kid, I told you this is not for noobs !
I'm talking about Lux's passive! Every time you land an ability you will ignite the target, and your next basic attack will inflict extra magic damage, now add that to shen blade's passive and what you get?

TOTAL PWNAGE OF NOOBS !!!!!

Lich Bane
Right when you were about to say ! "I OWNNNNNN" this item comes to give you a gaming ****** !
The Shen blade's passive is **** compared to Lich bane, 100% extra damage of your total AP for each basic attack after you land an ability !! And guess what, you get extra 36 magic resist and 7 Movement speed multiplier.... COME FKIN ON !
Void Staff
People noticed you are owning them, you are 15-2-30 and they are complaining about lux, and building magic resist... LETS FRUSTRATE THEM WITH 70 Ability power and 40% extra magic penetration HAHAHAHAHA !!
