Introduction

What's up guys, my summoner name isPotatoLions, and I'm here to give you a good guide on Lee Sin.

Lee Sin is a mobile, early-game based champion that utilizes quick decisions and fast movements. You can choose to go damage or tanky. Damage Lee Sin can assassinate squishy targets quickly, but he falls off late game. Tank Lee Sin might be a safer choice, as he can be very useful in team fights. Also, Lee Sin can engage well with his ult if he is tanky enough. Build tanky if your jungles is squishy, build damage if your jungled is tanky.

Early game, Lee sin is one of the best at harassing, so you want to emphasize that by constantly poking at your lane opponent.

Overall Lee sin is fun to play and good at many things involving mobility. This is my first Mobafire guide, so be sure to leave comments and reviews. :)

Cons:
Damage Lee Sin falls off late game
Long cooldowns early game
Squishy early game

Runes

For runes, I find attack damage marks, armor seals, magic resist glyphs, and attack damage quintessences helpful.
Don't be afraid to take life steal quints.
Life steal quints can help early game. It might not seem like a lot, but 4% lifesteal can help a lot early game.

Masteries

Just a standard 21-9-0 build. Nothing special. If you wanna play it safe, or you're going tanky, go 9-21-0. You absolutely must have all masteries that boost your attack damage.
Remember to always get "butcher" for last-hitting.

Summoner Spells

Awesome Summoner Spells

[icon=flash size=48 Awesome for engaging, positioning, escaping, and avoiding enemy abilities.
Great for finishing off enemies, or reducing healing on enemies with lots of health regen like Dr. Mundo

Viable Summoner Spells

Barrier can help you soak up damage and win fights with your lane opponent
I don't really use ghost, but it's good for chasing an enemy over a long period of time.
Um, exhaust is actually really good for slowing enemies or shutting down attack speed-based champions.
can be used to split push and get to lane faster
can be used to bait enemies, or to sustain yourself in lane.
Only take if against heavy cc team

Why would you even touch these..

LEE SIN IS NOT A SUPPORT
LEE SIN DOES NOT USE MANA
THIS IS A TOP GUIDE NOT A JUNGLE GUIDE
NOBODY USES REVIVE

Items

Lee Sin is beast, but he still needs items.

Honestly, this is my number one start for Lee Sin, as he already has a crazy high damage output at early levels and doesn't need extra damage. You can start with Cloth Armor or Doran's Shield if you want to play defensively.
This is good against AP teams, and can really reduce the durations of CC.
Get these only if everyone on the enemy team is AD based.
Ha, I love this item so much on Lee sin. Extra life steal to sustain, more attack damage to win fights, and an active that synergizes well with your Tempest.
This item gives you lots of armor penetration, attack damage, and CDR and can be built into Black Cleaver.
RANDUIN'S OMEN'S ACTIVE WITH Cripple= ULTIMATE SLOW
Honestly, I like this item as it is cost=effective and gives you a huge chunk of health.
This item can help you a lot against a heavy AP team. I pick it up if I'm against at least 3 AP enemies.
ohmygod. This item paired with your Safeguard gives you such high mobility, i'm not even kidding. Take it most of the time.
Take this if you want to chase better, as it helps you stick to your enemies.

Skills

OOOOOH THIS IS THE FUN PART!

FLURRY

After using an ability, Lee sin's next two basic attacks have increased attack speed.
This freaking passive is so helpful when pushing towers. Use abilities when attacking turrets to maximize this passive. Remember to weave abilities in with your autoattacks to get the most out of this passive.

SONIC WAVE

Sends a skillshot in a line that deals physical damage to the first enemy it hits. If sonic wave hits an enemy, Lee sin can cast Resonating Strike within the next few seconds.
Your main poke ability. Use it to last hit, harass, and jump over walls to neutral monsters.

RESONATING STRIKE

On activation, Lee sin dashes to the enemy marked by sonic wave. After reaching his target, Lee Sin deals physical damage plus 8% of his target's missing health.
Your gapcloser. Use it to get to enemies quickly, or to finish off enemies. It's a good "execute" skill since it deals bonus damage depending on their missing health.

SAFEGUARD

Lee Sin dashes to a friendly ward, minion, champion, or pet. Upon dashing, Lee Sin and his target receive a shield for a few seconds that absorbs a certain amount of damage. Within the next few seconds, Lee Sin can cast Iron Will.
Your other main utility spell. Use it to jump across walls to wards, to shield yourself from enemy skillshots, or simply to gain attack speed while pushing a tower.

IRON WILL

Lee sin gains bonus life steal and spell vamp for a period of time.
The 5% life steal and spell vamp at rank 1 may seem like nothing, but over time you can heal all your health up in lane. Use it during skirmishes to maintain your health.

TEMPEST

Lee Sin damages all nearby enemies, dealing magic damage and marking them. In the next few seconds, Lee Sin can cast Cripple.
Love this ability. It deals magic damage but scales with AD. Use it to shred through armor-heavy champions like Malphite. With Ravenous Hydra, this can clear entire minion waves.

CRIPPLE

Lee Sin slows all marked enemies, lowering their attack speed and movement speed for a few seconds.
This is your skill against attack speed champions like Tryndamere, Master Yi, and Jinx. You can also use it to catch up to an enemy for the final hit.

DRAGON'S RAGE

Lee Sin kicks a target enemy, dealing massive physical damage and knocking them back. Any enemies hit by the rebounding champion also receive damage and are knocked up.
This ultimate is amazing. When used with your Sonic Wave, you can mark an enemy, kick them, and dash to them again. You can use this defensively, or to finish off a low-health champion. Great in teamfights.

SUPER COMBOS

IT'S THE EVEN MORE FUN PART!

This combo is your level 2 harass combo. It's what makes Lee Sin one of the best harassers in the game, as he can just damage you and fly away before you can attack back. Make sure to utilize this early game.

This is your level 3 harass combo. It takes a split second longer because of Tempest's cast time, but the extra damage is worth it.

This is your damage combo once you get a Ravenous Hydra or Tiamat.

Pretty much your all-in kill combo. Afterwards use your Cripple and Randuin's Omen to slow them, and keep autoattacking them until they die.

Use this to hop walls, escape, or close the distance between you and an opponent.

You can use this to kick an enemy back into your team for an easy kill. Dash to them, flash in front of them, kick them back.

Gameplay

Early Game

Lee Sin has one of the top early games. Utilize that. Constantly harass with Sonic Wave and Tempest. Remember to cast Iron Will to heal up your health. Try to keep whittling down your lane opponent's health so that at level 6, you can use the all-in combo with your Dragon's Rage. Don't forget that you can always call for a gank from your jungler. It might be advisable to engage for first blood early on while you still are powerful. And remember- FARM!

Mid Game

By now the outer turrets may have been destroyed, and people have started roaming. This is the point where a Lee Sin will either start to become weaker, or become more powerful. It depends on your early laning phase. This is the point where you can be a mid-game monster. Roam mid occasionally if you're ahead. If not, just keep farming at your lane, or else you will start getting behind. Farm still matters here. You should be getting your Ravenous Hydra, The Brutalizer, and Randuin's Omen by now.

Late Game

Lee Sin tends to fall off around here if you're trying to be a damage carry. Late game, unless you're really fed, Lee sin is better off as a tank, since at this point his utility is more important than his damage. Remember to secure objectives like dragon and baron nashor . Never go alone without your team unless you're split-pushing. Defend youre base if you're losing, engage often if you're winning. One team mistake and you lose the game.

Team fights

Teamfights are when Lee Sin can really disrupt the enemy team. Let your tank engage, then go in second after him. If you have no tank, you should be the one engaging. Always look for an opportunity to Dragon's Rage a high-damage champion into your team, so they can be killed quickly. Also, try to knock people up with your ult at the same time. Lee Sin is best spamming Tempest, Ravenous Hydra, Randuin's Omen, and Dragon's Rage in teamfights, as he can deal massive AoE damage.
