Evelynn Build Guide by Shiikan

This guide is so good ~ I love the build!

i there, im just new to mobafire. You made me buy evelyn eheheh :) its really fun to play, but many people rages ate beggining saying "OMG evenoob/dont pick eve/eve sux" etc.. well most of the games i end with an reasonable score, but still not that good to shut up people xD. I was wondering why assassins aren't good at ranked (i'm an new player and reacently reach lvl 30)

One more thing... how to vote for guides in moba? i want to vote in this one :)

I'd thought about making an account here for a while. But this build made me do it for real.

It was incredibly well organized and well reasoned. I liked your section on wards, which has convinced me to start using them more. I know you didn't make the chart on the wards, but the inclusion of it was very nice.

I'd tried Evelyn a couple times before, but holy GOD was i doing it wrong! All in all, a very good, very thorough build. I've only played like 3 or 4 games, but all have been positive. and one even managed to turn itself around from being utter defeat. So, thank you, and I hope you make more in the future!

I recently picked up Evelynn, looking for a champion who would inspire fear, anger and frustration in the enemy team, only to find it extremely hard to play her.

Your guide, helped me take the first few steps towards being better with her. While my first few rounds were not very great, I got better and I actually did pretty good at several matches, having quite positive scores. I do usually take Lich Bane as I play her oriented more to AP, but your extra item suggestions were great and helped me get better.

It is fun to kill an enemy champion, run, Shadow Walk, use Zhonya's Hourglass, turn while they are confused, finish off a second champion, run, Shadow Walk, get saved by Guardian Angel, and take out a third enemy champion. (Only managed to do this once.) I play her as a jungler, and I'm still improving my skill to recognize the best ganking possibilities. The only really terrible thing about playing Evelynn is constantly being flamed by teammates.

PPS: I sometimes find myself horribly underleveled, practically making it impossible to get back into the game. Any advice?

@Lacayus - At the top it says "80%" and there is a little "Thumbs up" thing. Click it an it will ask you to enter a comment. Just type "Already Commented" and push OK. Also, you don't want to choose an Assassin in ranked because Ranked is focused around "THE METAGAME".

In the current metagame, assassins don't fit anywhere unless they can solotop, mid, or jungle well. Only one of which Evelynn can do (JUNGLE), and I haven't finished the Jungle section yet.

@Kinare - Thank you for your kind words! Yes, I think that it's actually pretty hilarious when they think they've secured a kill on you, but then you turn golden for 2 seconds and instantly disappear afterwards. xD

As for being underleveled, this happens to Evelynn players a LOT, including myself. What you should understand is that naturally you'll be roaming as Evelynn, whether intended or not, by late game. This causes you to miss out on much needed EXP due to being far away from lanes. Try to keep an eye on your allies' levels, and when they start to get higher than you, go into lane with them for a bit & leech EXP (You can also use Shadow Walk so that the enemy doesn't know you're there/know that you're leeching EXP.
