Alright, after playing for another month I can now say that, out of the top lane Blade of the Ruined King is the better build. But I still prefer the Ravenous Hydra out of the jungle. With the new conservation passive, you can get to the RH pretty quick, comparatively.

Well, to be honest, I'm perfectly legit in just downvoting because there is no cheatsheet.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, allow me an extra bit of input anyway.

Shyvana already has an amazing jungle clear time. Wriggle's Lantern goes to waste. If you wanted a champion that -should- solo dragon early, Shyvana should not be your pick. You are basically getting wriggles solely for the dragon (and later, baron), which is a complete waste of the item, since 1) doing early dragon prevents Shyvana from doing what she SHOULD be doing, which is ganking, counter-ganking and/or counter-jungling, all of which she does not need Wriggle's Lantern for. 2) You're not guaranteed to get a go at baron.

Also, Wriggle's Lantern is really cost inefficient for a fair amount of the game and doesn't carry into later in the game as well as Spirit of the Ancient Golem does. Wriggles costs 1650g, yet its stats are worth 1200~g, whereas Golem costs 2000g, yet has stats worth 2170g without even calculating its passive benefits.

So, I read this guide, and I tried it out in a few games. It definitely has some strengths, but I think it is better suited to some other tanky junglers more than Shyvana. While the attack speed is nice, it only affects the CD of her 'q.' Sure, her 'w' gets a longer duration based on basic attacks, but it has a cap that I've never failed to reach, without attack speed. And the nice thing about Ravenous Hydra over BoRK is that her Ult can force their whole team into a very small space, which means the Hydra is dealing damage to all of them, while BoRK is only hitting one. Basically, this guide is great for picking off single champs, and doesn't seem as strong during team fights. If you can snowball hard enough, its great. But, with the new changes, I'd rather get my CD from Totem of the Ancient Golem, which is actually better than the attack speed from Wriggle's, since it comes with Tenacity, health and health regen.

I tried this guide and it works the best holly cow! thanks. I got 12.0.12 and 9/2/8 in my 2 games. You obviously took a good amount thought on this build and guide.

Actually, this build typically gets you 12-0-14, unless you absolutely have to sacrifice. Don't see how it sucks when it's a carry build. I've seen way to many people start seeing this build early phase and call troll. Until it's Shyv that's leading the team and she's unstoppable.

2. Spirit of the ancient golem > Wriggles
3. You can't go 3 offensive items on shyvana.
4. Your runes suck.
