I completely agree with what you guys have said, to a degree :p. My main problem with it is in the early game yes everyone is squishy to some extent, which is why not going damage seems to be a wasted opportunity and makes Shaco vulnerable. Furthermore, my biggest problem with dps Shaco, as I loosely mentioned, is that it is very easy for enemies to escape or even burst you down if they have any kind of CC or dash, and the current meta sees mobility as a must for mid-laners (using them as an example because they are my main targets to camp as Shaco) and those that don't have mobility tend to have a lot of CC. I just wondered if you guys had any methods I wasn't thinking of to get by this, because to me it seems that hes too weak early and doesnt scale late with dps. Thanks :)

& I totally agree with xdartvaderx, the early game is actually hard for every champion because he can die extremly fast. It is also a challenge as Shaco to figure out when you can invade. If you see the enemy got a strong pull it is possible to loose the invade because Shaco`s DMG output in the first 3-4 lvl is pretty week ;P!

To Billywhiz10, aren't most of the champions squishy in the early game? I think lategadme you will have a much more difficult time to deal out the damage, because they will focus you due to your squishy-ness.

Hi I play a lot of Shaco and your guide is really in-depth and structured fantastically. I have tried a similar build to yours, but my problem came with initiating. Do you not find that early ganks and invades etc where Shaco thrives are weak due to his squishy-ness early and the time it takes to kill an enemy without raw damage? I've never tried it ranked because of this reason as I enjoy the build but I never survive long enough to deal damage even with items like GA and Maw after devourer and guinsoos, and Shaco's kit seems to be better weighted to hit-and-runs. Just wondered your thoughts and any tips you might have for such problems :).

To your question; Maybe its my fault & the picture is not drawn clear enough.
The red line is where you walk normally.
The blue line is where you have used Deceive, you are invisible.
The yellow dot is where you place a "Jack in The box".
here i am jumping over this stone. & most of the times they ward in the bushes, so even with a pink ward you should be invisible.
& Also here you should not be in range of anyward.

I added the about radius of the ward sight.

I really enjoyed reading your Shaco guide.
You lay out some nice "thinking out of the box" variations what we don't see in any other guide. Keep it up to the diversity to keep League interesting.
Other than that, your guide is well structured and pleasant to read.

I have one question though:

In your "How to" section, when you explain the ganking routes, you go in or near most of the bushes before your use Deceive. Is there not the possibility to use Deceive early and walk through the bush? That way you only will be spotted by a Pink Ward. The routes you take will let the enemy detect you only with a normal ward. Right? Just an input, maybe I am wrong.

But besides that. Great guide. Keep it up!
