VOTED +1

Very well written, well deserving of my +1.

Thoughts.

1. I would take Swiftness over Meditation . 2% MS is far better than 3 mana/5 seconds.

2. I would add Greater seal of Vitality and Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist to the list of other options, since some players may like the defensive stats with your full 21 offense points.

3. You spelled Rod of Ages "Rod of Aegis" in your section on it. Since I'm on the topic I will comment that if someone has a jungler who wants blue constantly, they may want to get this item along with the Rylai's.

4. I could throw Brand, Morgana, and Karthus into your section on enemies maybe. The only champ I have had any issues with when playing Cass was Brand and that was a while ago, but other players may find these three hard to deal with.

Hope this was helpful in some way.

Damn, the Aegis mistake is back! xD

Yes it is helpful, thanks a lot, although because of early game I can't really leave my mana regen be I will give RoA another go I guess and see how it works compared to 2x rings.

And once I face any of these in lane I will be sure to post a replay and say how it went.

I disagree with your itemization and runes in certain areas. Overall I can see that you're going for a different approach to Cass than most.

-Not getting RoA reduces your overall sustain dramatically in lane. Getting blue buff is always helpful, but Catalyst into RoA will assure your mana problems are nonexistent late game if blue is unavailable.
-Rylais should be rushed after boots if you want to keep this build. Cass is rather squishy like most other casters, you're better to have HP to stay in a fight than AP and never be able to cast anything.
-Boots+HP start recently got nerfed for early game. Not saying it still isn't viable, but overall I always prefer Doran's on my AP carries. If you boots+Pots fits you better than by all means keep it ^_^.
-WoTA on Cass isn't horrible, but you really need to get Revolver early on for WoTA to really pay for itself when you build it late game.
-BV is alright, I prefer getting Hourglass in longer games. Baiting people into a fight, throwing poison everywhere and then going immune can catch people off guard.
-The build itself is very viable, the order needs to be changed so that you can actually survive mid game to hit late game. I'd say Sorcs, then Revolver, then Rylais, then Deathcap, then WoTa, then Void Staff, then BV. It will allow you to survive through fights with a lot more assurance than your other order (IMO).

Runes:
-Cass is already rather mobile, with Swiftness Quints you're really ignoring her early game harass power by taking MS instead. Especially with a boots+pots start you're already going to be rather quick. Flat AP is my preferred rune here. I know it's suggested in every other AP build known to Moba, but there's a reason it works.
-MP5 per level doesn't scale well enough to make them worth 9 slots IMO. You could do HP per level or flat health here and be better off ESPECIALLY if you're already managing your mana wisely.

Masteries:
- I still prefer 9/0/21. The utility bonuses are just too good to pass up for me. 21/0/9 isn't as good as it seems. I've done the math (along with some others), the overall benefit for late game is roughly 4 more AP when you combine the %AP bonuses with deathcap, and the overall amount of AP on a build with ~560AP from items/runes is somewhere along the lines of 32-46 more AP. Which translates into little more than 25-36 more damage per ability with an 80% AP ratio. Which for Cass is 1 skill Noxious Blast at a 90% ratio. The others are 15-60% AP ratios, which makes the extra damage from the ~40AP negligible.
-If it works for you though, and simply feels better than that's fine. The math is just numbers, playstyle and enjoyment is what counts.

Skill Order:
-This order works just fine. I prefer Twin Fang over Noxious, but that fits my opprutunistic playstyle for Cass.
-Cass is one of those champs that works with multiple approaches to skilling, I simply like the assured damage of Twin Fang, using it to push people out of lane as often as possible just from landing one Q or W.
-I would reccommend displaying your other preferred skilling order. What the strengths and weaknesses are of both. IE

Q>E when you want/need to have a strong farm game.
E>Q when you your opponent seems to enjoy standing still for you to land your poisons.

Things like that.

Overall(Build/Guide): It's a different approach to Cass. It has some strong points, and is very well explained. It's not how I would do it, but that doesn't make it any less viable. I wish this guide the best of luck +1 (this comp is old so I might not be able to +1 the guide right away)

Build: I will do some testing on what you just told me, do note I DO have HP items, these are Doran's rings which are cheap and I use them to have mana regen and HP to survive early game and go into mid game with Rylai or Rabadon. Although early Hex sounds interesting so I'll try that.

RoA is 3k - 2x Dorans is 1k - I need my Rylai fast, I can't spend 3k in RoA if I want it fast enough so I am still not getting RoA, sorry.

Runes: You said it rether well - in your opinion. But I tried without mana runes and I just need them so I am not changing them at all. as for MS runes I already said AP are vaible and it depend on play style, I am allowing players to chose and customize their Cassiopeia to their play style, the first build above is just the way I mostly do it.

Masteries: Uh..I don't exactly have much to say there because I'd have to do some testing on it first but I'll get back to you on that one.

Skill order: Actually if you read carefully I did put E>Q as viable and I did say when it is better and for which play style just as I did with Q>E.

Thanks for review and well I was aiming for a different approach to Cass, what is the point in writing the guide which will be same as top placed guide and just use different words :)

It is in depth, it is optically pleasing and I will give it a try once I play Cass in a free week again.

Like the effort you put into this.

I really like the look of this guide. Everything blends together very nicely with all the colors, pictures and section divider thingies :P. It goes into very very good detail about how to play, what to use, and offers valid points, opinions and calculations which determines what makes a better Cassiopeia. You have put a lot of detail in to this guide, I can tell, and I hope to see this guide rise to the top. You totally deserve all of the Upvotes, and even though I don't play Cassiopeia, I'm sure anyone who does will gather insight on her. Best of luck to you with this guide, and any future guides you make.

- Regards, Interwebz.
