Thresh is great championfor solotop, he've got a lot of harras, nice dmg and good HP.
Thresh is ranged champ with passive extra AP and AD

You can starting with all runes, I prefer triple runes AD, AP, and Armor.

Mysteries Off-Tank is the best for thresh, couse he've nice dmg and ap and HP.You can do all offensive mysteries or all defense mysteries.

Items

1.Starting items it's bootswith 3 HP pots
2.Next buy Phage, boots of swiftnessand sheen.

3.Mid items: End Trinity forceand Start doing warmog
4.At the end you will need more Offensive items: buy Hydraand Black Cleaver. You can buy all items what u like but i prefer Sunfire Capefor end.
