Chapter 1

will let you split-push like a boss if the team-comp accommodates it, or at the very least, give your team more map control (especially in regards to dragon)

when Dunk-Master Jarvan Bro is on the case.

The standard Runes and Masteries are aimed more towards Blind-Pick or a "when-in-doubht" mentality", for exmaple, if you're in draft mode and know your laning match-up, M.res Per level runes may be more beneficial, this applies to masteries also, for exmaple, if your lane match-up was vs singed, these masteries would probably serve you better:

and work fine for early game items when necessary (Or if you have to B with some spare change).

for farm lanes, usually sold afterwards, but can become a in some very rare situations

Vs strong early game champs (unless you're snowballing)

can be viable in certain comps / match-ups - in-fact I sometimes prefer it over Tri.

,and >>> can sometimes be useful.

The standard build is only 5 items, the 6th is situational, usually something like:

(or one of the previously mentioned situational items, most of the time is the Force of Nature though in my experience)

(Solely based on how OP this item currently is, it can be considered viable on pretty much everyone - Irelia included: )
