This build is propperly well.. but since Irelia do ~80% physical damage and only ~20% magic (testet with 3 diffrent builds and those numbers are the average score) she do not seem to be as good a hybrid player like Akali or yi for that sake. The interresting thing here is that you still get all the attack speed and you end up building her somewhat like a Teemo :(
Physical all the way, it will maximise your dmg output and you wont be able to get killed with the even higher damage out put.

If it works for you and others, it is just ok :) But I just say your damage is decreased when you compare it to a hard physical build.

Well, I call it a hybrid because it doesn't focus on just AD or just AP or even just AS. But with that very fast AS, The Hiten Style active should do some pretty severe damage. If you add in the extra burst and slow from Equilibrium Strike and the ability to chase and initiate using Bladesurge, you have a lot of sustained DPS and a decent amount of healing. Part of Irelia's problem is that she doesn't bring as much to a team fight as many other champs. She's more like a clean up person, sadly.

Like I said though, this is kind of an experimental build and there are a lot of ways to go about playing Irelia. AS/AD may be the way to truly go, as the range on the E ability is quite horrible, but her passive has a lot of synergy with AS and the fact that you do fast damage through AD, despite it only being +55 and decent burst with AP, being 155, you still have the procs, mana regen, health regen, and CD reductions that could make it work.

If someone wants to try it out and think it sucks and down vote it, then by all means do, but this build does give Irelia a little bit of everything and in a 3vs5 earlier, I was able to go 12/8/10 I think it was and would have likely been much better had it been 5vs5. Anyways, thanks for any feedback, even if negative. I've looking at builds and I see flaws and things I don't like about on just about all of them.

I'm going to look more in to an AD build that gets some items that increase regen effects and adds a Frozen Mallet in there for the slow so that it's not such a PITA to chase people down.

hybrid would be more along the lines of straight up AD and AP, not AS because of how her abilities scale with them. AS is very little needed. same with Akali. I see akali get zeal first to lead into trinity force SICKENS me.

Looks like an interesting build. The idea of a hybrid build is interesting and that's a lot of attack speed. I think I might get a Madred's, however, if the game went long enough to see more than 9.3k gold.
