Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hi everyone, this is my first build !
Here, I propose a semi tank build for the new champion, Irelia. With this build, you will make high damages, you will have a good potential to survive and to chase.
The summoner skills are really basic. You can of course take heal, flash, teleport or fortify instead of exhaust, but I advise you to keep the ghost, wich is a must have for this champion.
For the items, Boots of Swiftness and Force of the Nature will give you a really amazing speed, and you'll be able to chase your opponent as far as you want. Sometimes, I take Ninja Tabi and Thornmail instead of Boots of Swiftness and Force of the Nature, when the opponents have many hard carry champions.
If you want to be a really good tank, you can take a Banshee's Veil or another Warmog's Armor instead of Stark Fervor.
If your opponents are really easy to gank, you can eventually take a Leviathan before your Spirit Visage.
Early game, try to make many last hits. If you can take the red buff, take it, and you'll be able to try a gank before the Level 6.
Mid Game, try to keep red and blue buff as long as you can. You'll of course make many last hits, and you can kill the dragon when he spawns. If your team mates and you can buy and put wards all arround the map, it will be fine. With your great mobility and your nice damages, you should setup some kills.
Late game, if you have a tank in your team, you can come in fight just after him, if there's no tank in your team, you can of course come first into the teamfights. Don't use your Equilibrium to slow, but always use it to stun. Try to keep your Transcendent Blades to chase, but don't hesitate to use it if you're taking too much damages.
Thanks for reading this build, I hope you'll have fun with Irelia !
