Irelia - Super Carry

This is my first build, though I've been using MobaFire builds since Summoner Level 1, and I've decided to contribute to the Irelia builds as I find they're all great, but mine just seems to work a little bit better...

Masteries

For my Masteries, I build 21-9-0, as I want maximum damage, but a little bit of armor in case I get focused. I play Irelia with HP per level, armor pen, and cooldown reduction runes. I also build my quints for armor pen, though HP per level quints can work too.

Items

For my items, I build armor and pots at the beginning. This is just so I can lane longer, get more minion kills, and possibly a few ganks in there. A fed Irelia is a happy Irelia. Near the end, I sell Wriggles Lantern and Last Whisperer for a Black Cleaver and a Bloodthirster.

Skill Sequence

For your skills, you want to build your bladesurge and Hiten Style first, for amazing damage, and even a little lifesteal.

When you're team fighting, I always drop Hiten Style first, followed by Bladesurge and Equilibrium strike. With my attack speed, I let Irelia auto attack after my sequence unless I'm being focused. With this build, your attack speed, armor pen, and lifesteal will desolate squishies.

Farming

Early game farming, try to use your Bladesurge moderately. When it kills a minion, it costs less mana and the cooldown is removed, but with Irelia early game, it's very easy to run low on mana very quickly, and you can end up missing a kill or die.

Creeping / Jungling

I never jungle with Irelia early game, but late game I'm always running every lane and jungling every spot. With her Hiten Style lifesteal, she regenerates, so if you're low before a fight, kill some creeps.

Summary

This build isn't very in depth, it's rushed off and moderate. However, if you understand the basics of Irelia's Hiten Style and attacks, you will roll squishes and tanks during team fights. Just remember, don't think you're invincible. Irelia is very easily focused!
