Start

Some people start with or .
I see it like this: If you start with and the enemy attack at the start you can't do anything but auto-attack, or if you are in luck, maybe steal a kill with it.

Again, just a way to auto-attack.

I always take . It gives either a stun or it will slow them down. In a secound you can see if you should just attack or go back. And remember if you are being focused you can use it to get away.

If you need health when you get to level 2, take if not, get , after that max out , and after your needs.
And if you use the minion trick, your mana will run low. Really fast.



Combo: - - If they run away, use until your is ready again, and redo the combo.

Good for chasing down the enemy, run away from gang or run to help in a teamfight.

Should explain itself

This shouldn't be nesceserry if you use your ulti, but it is always a good help.

If you take it, use it! I've seen many people running to a teamfight from spawn when they have their teleport ready.

You can take it, but you shouldn't need it.

Have mana problem? Switch this with ignite.

There is no excuse, you get health for every attack, and if you are using this guide you also have your lifesteal.

Even thought Irelia is a good jungler, this isn't a jungle guide.

So, what is your role? It can be alot of things.

- You can tank if needed
- You can take more champions at once
- Rescue friends

Fighting more than one champion

While focusing on one with your - - combo you can send your ulti at the other ones, when the one you were focusing is dead, use after the next.

Escape

If you need to escape, use to stun them and use if there is a enemy minion in front of you.
