Threats to Twisted Fate with this build
|Yasuo||Try to avoid laning against a Yasuo, his mobility and windwall completely counter Twisted Fate.|
Welcome to my first guide. This is kind a fun way to play TF if your bored of going AP every game. This build is ADC Twisted Fate for middle or bottom lane. The idea with this build is simply attack speed procking off with your Stacked Deck ability and being enhanced by your Pick a Card. So feel free to leave any feedback I'm open to criticism considering this is my first guide, and thanks for any support, GLHF.
As ADC TF I prefer taking Teleport and Flash, however if I'm bottom lane I take Heal instead of telelport. Also I prefer Flash but if you would like to Ghost is a good alternative.
Teleport - Great for ganking, returning to lane, and having overall map presence and intimidation. Works well with your ult for double teleports too.
Flash - Enemy get just out of reach for the yellow card, last hit, or your about to die? Just hit this button and everything will be OK.
Heal - self explanatory, use to save you lane partner or as a speed boost to escape or catch up if the enemy is a fraction of a hair away.
Ghost - Great alternative to Flash, can be used for escapes, chases and gives TF an overall mobility that he otherwise lacks.
Overview of Abilities
We've already discussed how and when to use your ult, be aggressive and help in fights basically. Now your Q will be maxed last however you can use the level 1 Q to poke your lane enemies constantly and for finishing off people who get just out of reach. Your Wild Cards are your best ability. Blue card restores mana and helps you take towers down. Red card slows and does AOE to help push waves or hit the most people in fights. Yellow card can be used as a 1 second stun at level one, which is very strong and should be used in lane for pickoffs or in ganks/fights.
General Laning Strategy (for middle lane)
While laning middle your going to have a hard time no matter who your up against. TF is usually bullied in lane anyway but as an ADC this is especially true. Your best chance is to last hit with you blue card and keep your distance from the enemy. Also after level 3 try to keep at least 1 ward up to watch for a gank form their jungler because it will be very hard to come back from this as a mid ADC. Just try to farm and poke a bit if possible, remember late game is your time to shine.
Laning Strategy for Bottom
Basically play as a regular ADC, and spam your Q because you have an endless mana supply from your blue card. Also take HEAL as your summoner spell if your bottom because chances are your the only ADC. Try to push the lane and assert your dominance with your red card's AOE damage and just keep blue carding their tower. After you get their tower down just keep farming and stay safe.
Post-Lane Stage (mid game)
So now that the laning phase is over you should have at least boots and either Youmuu's or Blade of ruined king. You should keep farming whatever lane your in and use your ultimate actively when a fight starts out. Your ult makes TF ADC very dangerous the the enemy because you can be farming 1 second and then right behind them then next. If you decide to teleport into a fight with your ult or summoner spell try to have your yellow card qued and ready.
