Smite - Take advantage of Ivern's passive Friend of the Forest. This will allow you to control river by taking easy Skuttle kills. You can also invade very easily and quickly. After level 5 take your ADC with you to get a free Blue/Red buff.
I get a lot of flack in queue about taking smite instead of
Exhaust. Ivern's kit makes up for the lost of Exhaust and you can further mitigate this with items. The benefits far out weigh the cons.Flash - Because it's flash.
