Chaotic Bliss is back, and this is how I play Janna. Before I start, Id like to say that Support doesnt mean Aura *****. It doesnt mean Heals and bubbles. Support champs can be made as DSP and still be supporting.
NOTE: REVAMP INC!! In the next few weeks Ill be revamping this build. If you like it now, Ill get it all polished up and Ill repost the revamped version in a couple of weeks
Masteries & Summoner Spells
Caster friendly in offense and mana, xp, and other fun things in utility.
Ive got points in Cripple,Insight, and Mystical Vison because I feel that these are very useful while playing Janna. Mana for all, Slowing for the kill, or getting spotting a gank before it happens, yeah all the jobs of Support while playing DPS.
I always do 3/5 before LvL6, and Howling Gale is it. So much dmg this early can make short work of creeps and is great for harassing. After LvL6 I work on Zephyr, and cap Howling Gale. These two together are great for nuking and setting up for kills. EotS is usefull, but I get it at the end. Although I get them as needed, Howling Gale is priority when Monsoon isnt upgradable.
Marks, Glyphs, and Quintessences all Mpen. A fully charged Howling Gale will be devastating early game with this great amount of Mpen. Of course I build to take early game, and these Mpen will grip it for you.
Seals AP per LvL here. AP is also good. With the XP boost in Utility, lvls will come quick.
Amplifying Tome= +20AP
Mejai's Soulstealer= +20 Ability Power UNIQUE Passive: Your champion gains 8 ability power per stack, receiving 2 stacks for a kill or 1 stack for an assist. This effect can stack 20 times; you lose a third of your stacks if you die. At 20 stacks, your champion's cooldowns are reduced by 15%.
Tier 1 boots= Speed 1
Kage's Lucky Pick= 25 AP and 5 gold per 10 sec
Blasting Wand= 40AP
Sorcerer's Shoes= 20Mep Speed 2
Void Staff=+70 Ability Power UNIQUE Passive: +40% Magic Penetration
Fiendish Codex=+30 Ability Power +7 Mana Regeneration per 5 UNIQUE Passive: Reduces ability cooldowns by 10%.
DFG=+60 Ability Power +10 Mana Regen per 5 Sec UNIQUE Passive: Reduces ability cooldowns by 15%. UNIQUE Active: Deals magic damage to target champion equal to 30% of their current health (+3.5% per 100 Ability Power) with a miminum of 200 damage. 1 minute cooldown.
Giant's Belt= 430 health
Blasting Wand= 40AP
RCS= +500 Health +80 Ability Power Passive: Dealing spell damage slows the target's movement speed by 35% for 2 seconds (15% for multi-target spells).
Needlessly large rod= 80AP
Zhonya's Ring=+120 Ability Power UNIQUE Passive: Increases Ability Power by 25% UNIQUE Active: Places your champion into Stasis for 2 seconds, rendering you invulnerable and untargetable but unable to take any actions. 90 sec cooldown
Items that can be swapped out
Aegis, Soul Shroud, Chalice, etc. the basic Support items
This Janna can solo in TT or mid in SR. She lanes well with others too. So find your place and go. If you lane with someone, set Howling Gale in one place and move. This is a skill shot on champs, so led well. One of each spell at LvL3 and 3/5 Howling Gale at 6. Howling Gale is great for clearing creeps. The Mpen that you will have early game will hurt everyone in its path. This makes farming easier, along with pushing. You should have Mejai's and half of DFG by the time you hit mid game.
Here is where you get dangerous. You have Mejai's and it laning, a few stacks, and more power in Zephyr. These stronger skills will nuke champs fast, and allow for great set ups or kills. She is still squishy, but capable of escaping. Void Staff and RCS should be built or started in this game. They will give more dominance in lane.
You are a beast in this game. Howling Gale, Zephyr, EotS, and Monsoon will make you a target. You will do great dmg, and will make pushing more effective. Janna seems like an easy champ to play, but it takes a sharp eye and fast reflexes to play her in the heat of late game. Janna is great at escaping, so stay behind the tanks and other DPS. Shoot Gale's when its up, and bubble those who need it.
1v1 and jungling
It is fun to 1v1 with this Janna. Yes, you can 1v1. Bubble your-self, start Howling Gale, Zephyr nuke, Gale goes off, and its GG. Most players will just stand there and wail on you, but with Monsoon, you will get your life back and be ready to go. Nothing causes more QQ than a Janna that kills 1v1.
Jungling is fun with Janna. Clarvoiance a buff and if someone is there Howling Gale. Let it fly, interupt them and get the buff. Her bubble holds well so use it and auto attack. Golem buff is all you need.
Ganking and team pushes
Ganking. Janna is a powerful Ganker. Clavoiance is great for helping this. Since Howling Gale can be cast through walls, and cant be seen in brush, Janna has an edge. You can start Howling Gale, step out of the bushes to get their attention, and bait them. They get a fully charged Gale for thier troubles. Add a Zephyr and they will be quite low.
Pushing is still the same as Support Janna. Bubbles and interupts, Monsoon to boost the team and piss the other team off. Keep the team up and you will have the best pushes.
Friends & Enemies
Mostly physical DPS champs are your best lane partners. They benefit from your bubble, and they can get you stacks for Mejai's. Jax, Olaf, Garen, and Master Yi are great allies.
Janna has an enemy in everyone. If she does too well she will be focused by everyone. Its good to be Janna, but its bad when you are doing well
