Janna is extremely good at getting first blood. You can use E on yourself to gain a shield and ten free attack damage, which is quite powerful early game. This allows her to snowball and win her lane.

She is also very hard to chase down. Every ability Janna has can be used to prevent being chased down. You can double Q the enemy for a quick stun, take advantage of your W's passive, use your E on yourself, and even use your ultimate for an instant knockback and heal in a pinch.

Also, this is not a usual pick so it is very easy to get an S with (:

QUICK ENGAGE
E+W
Shield yourself and slow the enemy.

FULL ENGAGE
Q+E+W
Wait for your Q to fully charge up. When it knocks the enemy up, go in.

ESCAPE
E+R+Q+Q or E+Q+Q
Only use your ultimate when they are very close or you are very low. Double Q them for a quick stun. Never use a slow on them when you are trying to escape, as it removes your W's passive.

Janna is another great ADC pick that has gone unnoticed. You should try it sometime!
