Hello everyone and welcome to my first guide on mobafire.
This is just a quick guide were i wanna show you what i think about this champ and how (in my oppinion) he means to be played.

Jarvan IV

He can:
easily push and disable enemys
he can isolate enemys(but not only, so care)
he has a nice damage output, without a lack in cc.
he CAN have a nice surviability
his outward apperance is a pain in the ..... for your enemys^^

He can´t
stand cc or slow very well because he is a meele
not that much damage like from tryndamere or xin, but for that impressive cc possibilities
he has mana problems early if u want to push or harras
he is very squeeshe at the start (like trynd)

The runes and masteries in my opinion fit in for a meele dmg, but this is everybodys own opinion and i think this hero is very flexible at runes and masteries.
IF you dont like mine just take your own^^.

I picked exhasut and ignite because they make fun on him, here again it depends on you if u jungle with smite or take ghost or flash instead of exhaust or ignite.

His abilities are all very good, but best is to start with the standard, followed by dragon strike, giving a point in this pretty shield and slow ability.

in fights use your ultimate to save friends or cage enemys but remember that just flash and jump abilities are able to cross the wall.
then use your standard folllowed by dragon strike to kick up and provide your team the nice bonus.
after that pop your shield to fix enemys and slow them down, this can also be done before,
repeat that and dont forget your items and summoner spells.
Remember, be flexible

Items
I first pick a sappphire crystal, this makes u even more ****py at going to the fb, but on the lane you can use your standard more often for lasthitting and pushing.
Dont forget to buy eyes within the game and also health potions at the start
After some time i pick the Ionian CD shoes and the tear of the goddes to fix his damned mana problem ( maybe i have it because i farm with the abilities but nevermind^^)
then pick the brutalizer to rech 30 percent CD reduction.
Then fullfill manamune and gather the stacks of it.
After that pick a Phage to increase surviability while slowing the enemy.
Now things get brute, because u fullfill your Yomuus ghostblade, increasing your damage (dont forget using it!!!).
After that get frozen mallet and randuin´s omen, giving you best surviability for a meele,a slow in the box and the 38pecent CD reduction(40 is cap).

The 6. item depends always on the situation
casters fed= get hexdrinker
Wanna lifesteal= bloodthirster
More dmg= infinity edge
More speed= shadowblades
More singel target dmg= madrest bloodcutter
Just somethign defensive= natures wraith, banshees,guardian angel or a quicksilver leash
remember to get that stuff maybe earlier so u survive more
