I guess I should clarify, I go mid nearly every single game I play as Jarvan, so I have no need for the team buff early on, and the ranged nuke allows me to beat every mid champ there is (except miss fortune and annie) I hate them.

@welsh - Ya if you read the top of the "Items" section, it actually does explain that you should base you decision on the boots and FoN/Thornmail based on how good the opposition is doing; in that match, I was worried early about their Trynd (even though he didn't wind up doing that well :P) so I took the Ninja Tabi. Consequently, the FoN is really more about the ridiculous amount of MR it gives, while the speed boost is just a perk.

I can respect maxing Dragon Strike first, I just go with the Demacian Standard because of the great buff it gives to yourself and your allies.

The name of this guide kinda made me /facepalm a bit.. and I'm not sure about FoN that much, cause if u really want mspd, get a PD.

Also, I max dragon strike first since ITS A NUKE. Anybody who thinks it isn't a nuke can suck my balls frankly ;3 +1

EDIT: In your screenshot, you have ninja tabi, yet you never mention it in your guide at all, maybe a boots section :P

I played with you as Jarvan actually and this guide obviously wrecks shop cuz we won. HOLLA!

Im still looking for good builds for Jarvan but none has worked well for me yet, everytime my team whines at me, if i go dps jarvan they whine: HES TANK! and if i go tank they whine: HES DPS! I think hes something in between. But then i bet the will whine either: Hes dps or Tank! hahah love randoms. Anyway i will try this build and get back to you :)

i also play jarvin and have also made a build guide but i really do need to make it easier like this one... anyway i would suggest getting the flag first considering it also buffs your ally and u may want to use it to ward the bush before you go in or else x_x.

this is the greatest guide i've ever seen. anyone who doesn't like this guide can suck it.
