Introduction

This is a different build for the Legend Jax. I think he is a really good char and I don't think that AP is the best build for him. Instead I use an Attack Speed Build. I hope you like it, please rate and comment.

Runes

You can choose the Runes freely, the ones above are the ones that work fine for me. Nuff said :)

Masteries

I use an 21-9-0 Mastery Build, cause I think Jax is a good Attacker. He can be played like this, but I would be thankful if you have better Mastery-Builds for me.

Items

As first item, Doran's Shield is really good cause it gives you a little health and health generation, which is very good for the beginning so you don't have to go base all the time. You should go base if you have got minimum 850 gold. Then you buy the Boots.
The Rageblade is a must-have for Jax. It gives him much more attack speed and raises his Damage for a bit.
Next I buy Sword of the Divine, which is really good for raising attack speed.
The last two items are Phantom Dancer, they give Jax just so much attack speed that opponents will fall really quickly and then Trinity Force. Match should be over when you bought Phantom Dancer.

Skill Sequence

First off, we choose Leap Strike. It's either good to finish off opponents or to get away by getting to a friendly minion. Next, we skill Empower to the max, it allows you to land very powerful strikes and it's really good to make after you jumped towards an opponent. The Ulti has the highest Priority, of course. Counter Strike is skilled at Level 3 and after you skilled Empower. Leap Strike can be skilled last.

Priority after you bought Leap Strike, Empower and Counter Strike the first time:
1. Relentless Assault
2. Empower
3. Counter Strike
4. Leap Strike

Summoner Spells

As Summoner Spells we choose Ignite and Flash. Ignite if you can't follow an opponent anymore with Leap Strike cause he is in tower range and flash to run away if situation gets hard or to follow an opponent in forest.

Summary

If you follow this guide, Jax will be nearly unstoppable. But remember: You are no Tank!! Don't follow opponents no matter what. It's more intelligent to use Ignite.
