In this guide you will find several chapters, such as this one, your early/mid/late game, Items, Skill Sequence, Summoner Spells, Pro's and Cons and maybe a few extra. Hope you enjoy the build as much as I did helping you with it!

In the early stages of the game on summoner's rift or twisted treeline, MAKE SURE, you have a laning partner, jax is NOT a solo character, he does not have the ability to harass ranged champions or 2 champions on his own (unless your super skilled). Having a champion with a snare or a stun as a laning partner is a great choice. So champions like Ryze, Irelia, Maokai, Morgana, Sion etc. With your laning partner try and constantly harass your opponents as much as possible. In the early game you should get your doran's blade, Ninja Tabi and some of your Hextech Gunblade or Guinsoo's Rageblade.

In mid game you should start to be ganking lanes, as you are hopefully got a score of something like 1.0.2 or 2.0.1. Initiate with your team mates in chat or ping, telling them you're going to gank the enemy. After hopefully successfully ganking the enemy you should push the lane and destroy a turret as you have the capability with a partner. Eventually tell your team mates that they should push mid and stick with you, as you are the fed carry. At the end of mid game you should have your; Hextech Gunblade, Guinsoo's Rageblade and your Atma's Impaler. If you start building your Warmog's during midgame (if in the order listed at the very top) you are going very well.

You should be super fed by this point in the game, your finishing you warmogs armor giving you about 3500 hp and with the bonus hp of warmogs nearly 4000 hp. Then your on to your last item Rylai's Crystal Scepter which will give you over 4000 hp. During late game, stick with your team, take out then dragon whenever it spawns, same goes with baron nashor. Dominate opponents and take out their nexus!

These items for jax may seem like a standard Jax build, or part of the offtank build you may use for nasus, or irelia. But NO, this build does have the standard 2 hybrid items; Hextech Gunblade and Guinsoo's Rageblade, it also has the two great Offtank items, Atma's Impaler and Warmog's Armor.
Great early starters item for jax, you can either choose this or Doran's Ring depending on how you like to start, I prefer having the Doran's Blade but it's really up to you.

Pretty standard item for jax, Ninja Tabi, gives you dodge which is great for your E.

Hextech Gunblade, great item for all hybrid characters such as Akali and Jax. I'm sure I don't need to explain why this is in the build.

Guinsoo's Rageblade, AMAZING item for Jax, in combination with the passive on his Ult, makes his Attack Speed great!
I know, I know, Jax is not a offtank character, but with the next two items in this build, this item is amazing! You will get 1300+ hp with the next 2 items, giving you a massive amount of bonus hp with the passive on Atma's Impaler.

Great item, 30 hp regen per 5 seconds and when the passive is filled 45 hp regen per 5 seconds. Makes you unkillable with the 3500+ hp your going to have after buying this item and it gives your Atma's Impaler a reason to be in this build!

Great item, giving you 4000+ hp, bonus AP and more AD with your Atma's Impaler.

Skill Sequence is pretty standard, maxingEmpower first by lvl 9. Next skill you should max is Leap Strike, you can decide to get 2 points in this ability before lvl 8 if you wish but make sure you max Empower first! Last ability to max is Counter Strike, it's on your ability list to stun your opponents, not, to deal damage!

PROS:

Very Mobile - Able to jump around to allies to escape danger and chase.
Great Harasser - With a partner jax is unstoppable.
Amazing Mid and Late Game - Just amazing.
Decent initiator - A great initiator for a non tank character
Many other Pros

CONS

Not a good character if underfed!
Not many cons what so ever!
