Leap Strike
Jax leaps towards a target. If it's an enemy, he attacks it and deals an additional 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 (+80% of ability power) magic damage.
Empower
Jax charges his weapon with energy, causing his next attack to deal 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 damage (plus 20% of his attack damage and ability power) to all nearby enemies.
Counter Strike
Passive: Increases Jax's dodge chance by 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 / 18%.
Active: Jax stuns surrounding enemies for 1 second and deals 80 / 100 / 120 / 140 / 160 (+60% of ability power) magic damage to them.
so if you complete the build and get the aproximate 575 AP...
leap strike-> 460 bonus damage plus skill base damage totals around 600 damage
empower-> 115 bonus damage plus skill base damage totals around 340 damage
counter strike-> 345 bonus damage plus skill base damage totals around 500 damage
and dont forget your ulti doing (.7 x aprox 575AP) + base damage of 210 for a total of 615 EVERY 3RD HIT!!
so in my opinion, i think playing ability power seems totally worth it. if you disagree, and have a way to change/improve this build, leave a comment and let me (and others browsing builds) know.
