Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
This build is all about the JAX everyone fears and loves to hate.
I've walked this build several times and never got a negative k/dr, even if my team completlely failed.
Just to add: This build is NOT that difficult, so if you're not the biggest noob on earth you'll easily be able to dominate the enemy team.
In my very first game with this build I just closely passed my first Pentakill.
AP RUNES: I think everyone reaching lvl 30 should be able to get some AP runes. Early Game AP or Late Game AP - that's your decision. I use Late Game AP, but IMO the early game ones are way better just because you'll maybe get some extra feed from the begging.
DODGE RUNES: They're pretty sweet but I have to admit, I didn't get any of this by now. 820 IP / rune are just too expensive and I tent to use my IP instantly to buy new champs. (I'm no RP-***)
Doran's Ring - is what I think is the best Starter Item, bcz you'll be able to dominate your lane without going oom and the extra hp feel so comfortable.
Ninja Tabi - Those cheap boots are what you wanna get. (+dodge)
Guinsoo's Rageblade - When you'll be able to purchase this you'll definitively be lvl 6 and this in combination with your ulti is just the main item, you're gonna get.
Sheen - It buffs you're AA and its +250 mana are definitively worth it.
Trinity Force - This is where my build differs from a lot of other Jax guides. I tried it one time and it worked so damn well, I just consider giving this the status of my CORE ITEM. It works so well in different ways, e.g. you'll get a speed boost wich helps you ganking, you'll be able to slow your enemies and some more effects. Just try it, and you'll be even more OP.
Hextech Revolver - It will buff your survivability and you'll be able to shock the enemies with the combination of your heavy damage output + you're spell vamp life regen.
Rylai's Crystal Scepter - It will help you chase enemies with it's slow and you'll get more invincable with its +500hp.
I think the next items are just a pretty default build, but you won't need them: At this point the enemies already surrendered.
JAX IS OP, GET USED TO IT !
You are Jax and just got about ~300hp left? You're enemy is a mage with half of his hp and is chasing you? No problem! If there's enough time, try to get attacked by minions to get your E-skill activateable. Then just turn around and watch the enemy melt away under your insane dmg. Use the surprise moment.
Pros / Cons
+HEAVY DMG output
+insane early game power
+able to solo baron at ~lvl 13 with trinity+hextech
+easy to handle with (OK you'll need some experiences with this game..)
-you'll be reported for OPness
-it's getting bored never losing against anyone
-your team has to distract them while you'll be executing them
FLASH : It's the best way to get into/out of fights. Use it and it'll pay off.
EXHAUST : A BIG early game advantage and it will save your life several times.
CLEANSE : Pro skill - Use it if you got any problems with stuns/slows/etc.
GHOST : I'm not a fan of ghost-summspell, but some say it's quite effective. Don't know why, I just think the other spells are way more effective.
