My masteries wont save the way i want them to.. so it shows them as 3-0-0 :/

And how do you survive the first 10 or so levels it takes to build your Phantom Dancer? Assuming you land some last hits which i doubt without boots. Any opposing laner will harass you far more effectively than the sceptor could heal you. Your main skill is Counter Strike, however your dodge up until the Phantom Dancer will be a measly 14,5% (lvl 1) - 24% (maxed out CS). Also, Jax stock mana situation is downright horrible. Rely on CS for 2 minutes and youre out of mana.

Then, with the Dancer finally complete, you'll have a Movement Speed comparable to someone with boots (atleast i hope so). But guess what? They'll ghost and run from you, and you cant be faster than them. Burst damage? No, the Dancer doesnt provide you with any attack damage. Can you keep the enemy with you, say, with exhaust? Nope.

Then you somehow get the money for a Rageblade - by now you do tear through minions and creeps. Note the total cost of your items with the Rageblade reaches about 6000 gold already. Many games (from my experience) END at this point. Have you been very useful to your team yet? I doubt it.

This is why i have chosen frozen mallet. Jax is an assassin, once you have hit them once, you have them, the only champ that could get away would be Master Yi with his ult. Try the build, its fun. Last time i used this build i had 3 quads lmao. And also, a second dancer would give you.. attack speed, 8% more dodge than the tabi, and also, a 30% crit chance. which imo is worth the average movement speed. Could be wrong, but again, its what works for me.

right, but why not have 460 speed and catch everyone instead of having 20 less than everyone else and being slow or just average? The whole point of phantom dancer is chasing speed not boot replacement IMO

a dancer and a zeal= 400 movement speed.. which is faster than casters and tanks with boots. After you finish the second dancer, your movement speed is more than adequate.Its what works well for me.

no boots = fail, just my opinion.
