My Build

This is just going to be a quick rundown on the build.

Items:
I start with amplifying tome for the extra damage and it builds into a core item, i don't need a dorans item as I've taken health quints. Next item is generally boots, if i have enough for the hextech revolver ill get that, depending on my enemies if i don't need the movement speed.
After here get sorcerers shoes for the magic pen to make every part of the combo more deadly.
From here build into hextech gunblade the damage, ability power, lifesteal and spell vamp. Making combat so easy and laning a breeze. The active on this item should also stop those speedy champions from escaping. From here i build into lichbane for the on hit effect adding all your ability power, to combine with your ability power hitting them with your w and q when you engage. The next item is deathfire grasp, cooldown reduction helps out, and the active works amazing for someone trying to burst down their opponent. Finally i get deathcap just to max out AP, and a banshees to avoid stuns and throw in some durability. Now you may so well does this work in a team fight, its all about 1 hitting someone with this big combo, well your right, but if u do this to the enemy carry. Its and instant 4v5 + with your ulti and 175 attack damage your going to hit hard on non tanks, stun everyone and your q, w, and lichbane cooldowns are all around 3 or 4 seconds ready to destroy someone else.

SUMARRY
So if you look at my stats at level 18 its only 175 damage and 430 ability power, now i know you can get alot higher in both areas, but 175 damage with jax's ulti will go down well. But this builds Strength is in his amazing 1 combo kill. Use him as follows. Banshees is just there for defense always need some, and that shield can stop a stun and let u get your combo off better.

Activate W
Then jump at them with Q
Now this takes timing and if u cant do it, do this before you jump.
But cast deathfire grasp on them in the air before you land.
So you should do 50% of their HP with deathfire grasp. 30% + 20% ( 5% perr 100 AP @ 430 AP ).
Less magic resist of course.
Then you hit with your Q,W,Basic Attack + Lichbane as you land on them.
Follow up with Hextechgun blade adding 400 more damage and slowing them so they cant escape,
If they aren't dead, they are decimated leaving you with an easy kill to finish.




Summoners:
Ive taken exhaust and ghost, because they are both so great for securing kills and escaping death.

Runes:
Magic pen reds to increase damage all game, dodge yellows because dodge is amazing on jax, magic resist blues to defend against mage harass in lane, and HP quints because i use them for everything just makes you so much better early game.

Masteries:
Pretty starndard attacking masteries, didnt go for crit stuff cause jax doesnt crit.

Skill sequence:
Like to get every move early, then max W to maximize damage out put, followed by q for more damage and more utility with lower cd.
