Jax Build Guide by Vasarius

First of all great build...
One thing I wanted to ask is why you don't use Jax' passive, when buying the runes...
I find health invaluable early in the game and buying AP glyphs und AD marks gives you almost the effect of the flat health glyphs and marks for free...
I'm only lvl 20 so far and don't have the IP for trying different runesets so I'm not free to try everything but I thougt this might be a nice idea ;)

It is a good idea, and I did consider it. However, AD and AP are easily bought ingame, whereas CDR and Magic Pen are not, especially I buy no magic pen items. And CDR I get only from nashors, which I hardly ever reach anyway. Health is also easily bought in game, which is why i'm considering switch to dodge quints, because dodge is only found on ninja tabi for items, and with dodge seals, quints, ninja tabi, and your e, your dodge is up to 40% with only one item that gives dodge. Which is invaluable considering dodging attacks lets you stun, which is more useful than an extra 97 health, at least late game.

Wow Finnaly a jax build that is amazing and doesnt use phantom dancer. I just used this build with him on a 3v3, i face stomped everyone I think i ended at 17-2-3 and i won thanks to me... my team fed but this build was like NONE SHALL PASS and i win :P

But one thing :) At your description you say that trinity force gives everything attack speed, health , mana , dodge etC...
Well it doesnt give dodge (when i read it i though they patch changed it and i got happy but ;p You are wrong) So take your time to edit that part over there :)

+1! A very nice guide, I just wanted to mention that if u buy malady/sword of the divine u should put them instead of nashor's cuz u dont want to pass the capped as so much ( u already cap it with this build in 9 ult and 8 guinsoo's stacks).

I'm so glad you posted this build, because I've been tweaking Jax's build since I discovered how much I love him, and this is almost identical.

I just wish that other players would learn his purpose and not expect me to charge in and kill a whole team by myself. It's amazing what they think Jax is supposed to be capable of.

Anyway, glad to see some validation, though my own scores usually are enough for me. My absolute essential first 3 are Guinsoo's > Hextech > Nashor's and then I follow by building to suit whatever team I'm playing against. Sometimes I throw in an Abyssal Scepter for the Resist and I've been known to grab a Warmog's if the team knows to focus me as soon as I show up.

For fun once or twice I've built Jax as a tank. Terrifying possibilities. It takes time to get the gear to stand up to a team, but once you have it, no one questions you. Great off-tank, though I've used him as a main tank before with great result.

Don't listen to the haters. Jax is the most fun to play, I think, and has a lot more variable builds than most other champions.

i killed 2 tanks in the range of their turret
i was like, WTF?

Those Health Q-s really help at start, makes Jax less squishy in the early phase.

that would made my run more devastating :P
