i play jayce as a solotop bruser, i think this is the best role he can play in a game because of the strong early game harras u can start playing realy aggrassive top. Because of this you can force your enemy to go back early due to this you can start out csing your enemy and try to snowball of of this.

Greater Quintessence of DesolationI chose for these runes cause i think these are the best suited for solotop brusers, most of the time you will have a ad champion against on top thats why u take the early armor runes.

You still wat to do some damage thats where your flat ad and armorpen is for.

And around lvl 10 to 12 you start teamfighting so you will aso encounter magic damage this is where your mr per lvl will shine :).

the build above is the build i like to play on jayce but allways look at your enemy team what teamcomp they have, if they have a lot of cc or heavy magic damage take your mercs if they are more of a ad team try ninja tabis. what else to say about these items. triforce is one of the better items for brusers it gives you some more health to keep a live in teamfights with some dps i think this is a must have on this champion. the wits end is strongly recomended with this and your ranged atacks you can build your mr befor russhing in with the big bad hammer.
GA depending on your enemy teamcomp you maybe want to buy the GA the GA is nice if they have a great burst or some strong aoe ultis that will kill you if they have more sustain dps its not worth buying they will kill you anyway. the warmogs just gives you that extra health that you need in teamfights and the atma's after it give you some nice dmg with the warmogs
