Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Laning Phase, he is strong but needs to be used to his bullet management. Shoot the back line minions a few times and use Q to last-hit and bounce on the enemy champion. Not so hard to set-up and it is a good harass. Use the 4th shot for zoning enemies. Throw Q with your AA for full damage. Positiong is key to safety to prevent Jungle ganks. AA to W is not bad but needs position. at level 3, put traps in the bush of the river. Use it as your advantage and use W and AAs for damage. Poke and trade and escape playstyle is the best and not go all-in. Just don't go ham and be careful of what you're doing.
Teamfights, stay back as much as possible to prevent CCs. Always shoot an enemy if you have the fourth shot but only if ADC is out of position. Sometimes you can use Ulti for frontline, but it is best to clear of escaping enemies. Use to catch someone out if you hit the frontline. Throw E to have cc and good damage for zone control. Hit the frontline and AAs.
Tips for Jhin, when escaping use W for the root on the enemy and gives you bonus movement speed to save yourselves. Only escape except for E. Can throw blue orb when using Ult. Dont try to put the Ulti in the edge, and position it in the middle. Don't always shoot immediately, use mindgames to shoot your ult. Say first shot hit, they juke, shoot all when they are cornered and trapped.
Diffrent from other ADC because of how the damaage scales. You go 15 AD 12 MR 9 Armor. Flat AD is better than attack speed early game. Life steal is also not that great so it is best to have 15 AD 12 MR 9 Armor
A bid different from other ADC again and the difference is using warlord's bloodlust. Gives a good sustain and damage for Jhin. Deathfire is okay but his moves all counts as AOE so it is not that great. IT scales weirdly so it is not as good as warlords. Thunderlord and stormraiders are unmatched against Warlord's.
In the skill build, get Q at level 1. E is good for safety but not overall great and W is not easy to set-up so Q is maxed first in the build. You can prioritize W or E, E for safety and W is standard. Traps are for river and ward spots so it is best to go Q > W > E. W is a great root so E is not better than it. You can stack but it is not practical.
For items, always start Doran's blade. Rush Edge for good crit and damage. Rapid firecannon is second because you need a quick attack speed and move speed when crit so it is great. Swift boots is prior after. Greaves are not as great and you can escape better with Swifty. Third items is dependable, If a lot of magic damage use Maw or Scimtar. If there is A high armor use Regards. Then finally get one other item you did not get and final item is the bloodthirster. So overall, you need to stack damage and attack speed.
