Very nice guide, and i also think zoran blades are very good on riven. Either way, wriggle or dorans you cant go wrong they are both good on her. I find doran to be better for her damage output and give a lot of HP, while wirggle is more of a team item. The wards are SOOOO important, and as a jungler you are roaming arround. Bottom line, they are both good items, and player should pick the one they like. One thing im not sure about, is the selling of items, I would replace my dorans before any other items, and not sure yo should ever sell that bloodthirster either. As far as cooldown reduction goes, your top skills are Valor and ki burst, which on average a 7-8sec cooldown. Your ulti has less than a minute. So getting the brutalizer and boots gives you 25%, thats 2sec on most of your abilities and about 12 sec on your ult. Riven, like you mentioned is counter by CC. Someone with good CC will kill her easily. Which is why Tenacity for the mercs, is so important, plus you get magic res. Yes brutalizer also provides armor pen and AD, but for 1K more you can have a last whisperer.
Anyway, like i said, very nice guide, items arent bad either, i just have a different opinion on some of them, but overall is very good.

If the game is an hour long, you're gonna need to sell a Bloodthrister and the Brutalizer for some health and some armor. If the game reaches that point, AP carries are going to be able to just burst you down with their AoE. I think that's what I meant.

And with the boots question, I listed CC as more dangerous on Riven because the way this guide is setup, you're getting your durability and effective health from your Valor. The only reason Rivens stack AD is because they get both insane damage, sustain, and extra "max" health through Valor. If you're CC'd, can't Valor. This is why I also get CDR in mid game. More passive charges, more shields, more stuns, everything. She's not an auto-attacker. Her strength comes from her constant bunny-hopping.

Well I still like the items i use better, but like i said theres nothing worng with yours either, its a personal preference. I like to play her solo top, but i dont play rank and 50% of the time, if I dont jungle no one will, so jungling riven allows me to play her more often.

i was looking for a cdr build n i liked that one.
ppl say u need more 'tankiness', sometimes i change my lastwhisper for atmas wn that fiora or tryn has too much dmg.
n i do frozen mallet early-mid game, even if i'm a carry i still need to stay in battle more time cause riven is melee. if i got atmas i choose sometimes warmog.

I don't know if I said this in my guide, but I basically build Phage/FM when team fights start. You only buy Last Whisper when more than 3 people (or the person you need to kill) has over 100 armor.

Hey. I want to complain about Valor.
You build CDR, and still want to max it second? Isn't the CDR from items already good?
This shield scales good with your AD, and isn't necessary to max.
I prefger damage from Broken Wings to shield from Valor.

Of course another person writing a Riven guide would downvote me. Considering we use Broken Wings to start a gank for the extra mobility, most of the uses will be wasted solely for movement and not damage. I didn't say: "I max Valor second /because/ it lowers the cooldown more." I max Valor second because it provides more /utility/ than making Broken Wings because how Broken Wings is used during a gank. A maxed Ki Burst and level 1 Broken Wings is more than enough damage to wipe out a camp mid-game.

Just because you prefer something that's different than me doesn't make you any more right or wrong, so don't down vote me for one tiny little difference in opinion.

You max Valor because it provides more utility? I said this before, you've got enough shield at lvl 1, because it has got nice scallings. And that's my opinion, that's all.
