I know what you're thinking..... TROLL!!! Well don't deny it until you try it. If I have to tank, this is what I do and I never feed and I get tons of assists for stacks. All you have to remember is that he has an ult on a relatively short cooldown and it makes him take 75% less damage. The extra money items are mainly for wards after you get all 3 of them. If you die you pick up another oracles and keep doing what you were doing. Having armor and MR are not necessary because you should only need his ult considering that every team fight doesnt last more then 15 seconds usually and usually he isn't focused and if he is just press R. =)

These runes are almost mandatory for jungleing with Alistar. It's actually kind of a basic set-up for any jungle champion. Especially a tank.

If you want to survive exceptionally well this is what I reccomend.

The first are your general runes for any jungler. I always get sorc ston for the regen and of course the money, then kages pick because a little damage is nice to be able to jungle just a bit faster and of course the money again, last is the heart of gold for mainly the money but the little amount of health is nice. Then you want to pick up some boots; any kidn will do truthfully but I get mobility because it makes coming out of the grass and getting behind your enemy a lot easier and quicker. Then levithian because you will get a ton of stacks from assists and then be sure to sell your cloth armor since it isnt necessary to jungle anymore. Then You just get oracles and wards for the rest of the game, 5 wards at a time and let your team have bacially a perma jungle vision. Then if you want you can get all of the other elixer because you will have a lot of extra cash.

Make sure to max out pulverize before anything except unbreakable will. take one point in triumphant roar at level two to make sure you can use his passive a lot more in early jungle. then prioritize on headbutt third and triumphant roar last.

Smite is a must and flash is the best thing to do so you can gank easy. Flash on the enemy pulverize then headbut and use triumphant roar last to get the extra trample damage in there.

Pro is you're still unstoppable and your team can see everything in the jungle almost always as long as you're warding correctly.

Con is that you don' have any other itmes to help u after you use your unbreakable will so make sure to use it at the right time and dontn wasye it.

Start wraiths smithe the big one. Go to wolves and use pulverize and use tramples duration then use triumphant roar to continue trample again while always attackign the big wolf. Then go to the two small golems and smite one and use ur skills again for tramples effect. Then gank and do whatever you need to after that. Jungle or just keep ganking but try to reach level 6 and after then just become a ganking machine.

There is absolutely no reason to go and farm. You will have a ton of gold after you get your three stackable money items so it is best to let the carries have the farm.
