Introduction

Welcome to jungle tankturne, today we will be going over the basics of this brand of gameplay.
WHY TANKTURNE?
- Well i'm sure if you've played nocturne (straight dps) that it can be very frustrating. As DPS noc you have to wait till the fight has started and there is a good jump target and then you'll still probably get focus fired and die. Granted you may melt 1-2 champs but we can do better.

Tankturne fixes a lot of the 'problems' with his kit. Instead of having to worry about hoping in late to a fight you can go in with your initiator. Most people won't want to hit the tanky noc over the squishy AP guy in the back row. So hit them as they try to make the way through the crowd to your back row. Since you can fear people it pretty much serves your back row up a free kill. Anyways we'll get into more details later. Just know;

DPS Noc - everyone wants to hit you and you go POOF
TANK Noc - nobody want to hit you and they go POOF

Runes + Masteries

We take the red/quint armor penetration since we won't be buying any arpen items at all. Two move speed quints since I sandbag on buying tier 2 boots for a long time and since more MS is good. Armor yellows to help the jungle go smoother and so that you'll be more tanky. AS blues most the time since we won't be building any AS till much later in the build.

We take heavy offensive masteries because almost all our first items will be defensive and we still want damage. Once we get boots, mallet and atmas we will hit very hard.
