Xin Zhao Build Guide by Gasparde

This guide really brought back Xin for me, and after reading this I haven't lost a game yet!

I have felt his vicious fall off late game, but I find that if your early game is strong enough, there isn't enough late game for the tea to exploit, or I fed my team enough for them to carry.

IMO that's what Xin does best...sustains the game while you late game player's get ready to carry for you in return.

The depth is amazing and you are a legend for your section on building resistances based on their team comp. More guides should go with the "think for your own damn selves" route because it actually teaches and guides as opposed to making static builds that get pounded.

Thx bro - I really dislike guides giving you like... 1 or 2 set itemroutes with close to no flexibility. So I kinda tried to do it better since I really want to encourage people to actually think what theyre doing, and why theyre doing things... instead of just giving them something to copy that works in like 40% of their matches.

Nice Guide! Although there're faster / better junglers out there xin has become my main. However i NEVER play him with warmogs + atmas ... I rather get Randuins and Black Cleaver (always depending ofc). But with those two you REALLY are able to solo nearly everyone else.

Although he's strong jungle I also often take him Toplane (eu meta). Starting with Ruby Cristal -> small boots -> heart of gold / phage (depending on how hard lane). This will give u the tankines u need since u don't want to have wasted your money. Most of the times you can easily dominate Toplane.

For example Q -> hit 2 minions -> dash on champion -> knock up -> dmg -> run With this combo u will have strong continous harass.

Nice guide i used this guide when i started xin jungle but i got some exp with him now and i made a couple of changes to your items that seem better to me. so u start with wriggles and boots thats good, but then i would buy heart of gold, phage, zeal then wardens mail and after build the trinity and randuins then go black cleaver and phantom dancer but thats my opinion and one more small thing i would go ghost/smite!!! rest verry good so +1

Im actually prolly going to change Atmas with Randuins, since Atma really lost its strenght with the recent nerf.

In terms of HoG, yes, sometimes I get this aswell, but usually only if Im already quite ahead. 850g are quite a huge investment as a jungler early on, and especially if youre gank-reliant and dont get ganks off... this really cripples you more as it would help you later on.

Black Cleaver and Phantom Dancer, yea, those are the situational items at the very end of the game. If Im already tanking the **** out of the enemy... theres no need to become even more tanky, in those cases I grab some naasty dmg items aswell. But usually my games end after grabbing Trinity and Warmogs, so this is more of a "hey, in a 60 minute match, if youre not dying anymore, grab some dmg items" scenario.

And lastly, Ghost + Smite. Ya, I used this a lot in my early Xin times. And yes, its so much better as a melee cuz you can stay in melee range for way longer than you could do with Flash. But actually, then we're back with Xins lack of escapes. One snare, one stun, one slow or one knock-up... and Ghost will pretty surely not safe you. With Flash on the other hand you can still pull off some really aggressive moves, but you have waaay more defensive capabilities. As mentioned in the guide, I used to run Ghost on many melee junglers, but tbh I couldnt play without Flash anymore on any champ but Mundo, or Shyvana with good escapes.

people are building xin way to tanky for xin you guys are kind of complaining about late game presence because your building him off tank when he should be built like vayne with tons of attack speed damage and crit chance. if you build xin like this you wont need armor and mr with all the ammount of health you will life steal. this guide used to be the top xin guide and it still works there is nothing defensive about this guide either.
