This is the build I use for jungling Malphite, the idea behind him being able to jungle is build on the passive shield, blocking 10% worht dmg of your hp on each pack you do and Ground Slam doing aoe dmg and slowing the monsters attack speed.

Summoneers:

Smite is a must for all jungling heroes realy. The second spell is up to your liking, you dont need it for jungling (tho you can use ignite to help kill the first creep), and it will be used for the other parts of the game. Exhaust and Ignite are good as you will be ganking a lot when you have ulti.

Runes:

Desolation marks and quintessences help nicely against the low armor monsters, allowing you to kill them faster, Claritys give you stable manaregen thru the game. For glyphs you may choose anything that fits your playing. I would preffer reduced cooldown for them.

The other choise is to go for dodge seals and quintessence, Armor on marks and if you dont want to get mana regen from items then Clarity on glyphs. If you want to focus on for late game tanking fully you can take magic resist glyphs.

Skills:

First lvl slam is for the dmg and attack speed slow, saving you some health. 2nd lvl Brutal Strikes gives you the splash to kill the creeps faster and the use boosts your dmg and armor, also giving more dmg to slam. Maxing Shard from lvl 4 on will help you a lot when you start ganging.

Items:

Dorans Shield gives you the hp for passive, regen and armor for reduced dmg and increased slam dmg, letting you finish the first round easier. You dont realy need the potion with Dorans but you will need it later on before going to gang or if you do early buff.

(Alternatively you can get 2-3 hp pots and a Cloth Armor to rush ninja tabi, this will make the first round a lot harder, but you can rush the ninja tabi like this a lot faster.)

You should get Cloth Armor after the first round, then finish the ninja tabis. At this point you will have no problem doing any of the creeps. Go for sunfire first, it will help you farm faster. After that you can go for your regular Malphite build.

If you are going for attack damage Malphite you dont realy need the sunfire, it just is in my opinion the best item to increase your farming and survivablity when ganging.

Jungling:

Start with the small golems at next to bottom if you are on the left side and top if you are on the right side. From there take the ghost and then wolfs, you should have smite of cd after this. Go kill 1 of the mana buffs small minions with smite and go to base and reg. Do the second round exacly the same. The golems should spawn just when you get to the creep camp. Before the 3rd round you can help bottom for some lvl if needed. Finisht the third round with mana buff golem and you are free to roam for the rest of the time.
