AP Shaco is not meant to be a champion to be played in ranked matches. AP Shaco is just for amusing yourself with the rediculous damage that jack-os deal. So it's all about fun. I do NOT recommend going AP as Shaco in ranked matches as he doesn't farm that fast and he is easily encountered (yes even if he can stealth).

Get Jacks first, then the dagger and then get deceive at lvl 5.

Activating them is pretty easy to figure out after you've played a couple of time with Shaco.

Ganking:
Deceive then put a jacko at a key location and use the dagger.

Team Fights:
Put jackos in range but not close melee fighters, use your R and then keep spamming W and E.

Dueling:
Put a jack in the box near your target and hit him with your dagger then ult if the target is not squishy and try to trick him to follow you around while you get your cooldowns.

Shaco is easy enough. You need to grab your Doran's Ring really quicky and head to blue immediately. Put as many as 4-5 jack-os in the bushes and keep an eye out for ambushes. When you get blue head to the wolves, wraiths, red, then gank and keep this up. Try to gank and put wards throughout the map.

Quick jungler
Great nuke
Fun

Cons:
Slow farmer
Less effective in team fights than AD Shaco
Gets encountered with CC
