I think with Caitlyn as a VERY good AD Carry it is just a MUST to make Damage, so quickly rush zhs items but sell Dorans Blade of course because you just have 6 item places. It is very important to get much damage. If you are think you have no life, or something, you are wrong. With that build you have 78 percent lifesteal, which is quite alot with a critical strike at 1500 damage...
So even if veigar is casting on you and you have luck and survive with 50 hp you just have to go to the golems and you have full life.
