pros / cons

+ strong laning phase
+ great in all stages of the game
+ good at roaming and easy waveclear
+ good at kiting and poking
+ good at chasing/catching
+ good at quickly blowing up squishies and best in long lasting fights
+ great at teamfights or 1v1's

- not taking care of your CDS and mana make u vulnerable to ganks
- wrong mantra decisions can sometimes get u in a rly bad situation

Tier 1 // Fury: makes your autoattacking smoother, good for AA abuse early, and helps with csing

Tier 2 // Feast: sustain

Tier 3 // Natural Talent: i prefer this over vampirism since i feel that u dont rly need the vamp

Tier 4 // Oppressor: good for early +%dmg (QW proc this) and doesnt need to scale up first like bounty hunter

Tier 2 // Secret Stash: cookie boost can be helpful sometimes + extend your sorcery elixir (if u wanna get 1 at some stages of the game)

Tier 3 // Merciless: i always take this since its a good dmg boost and i feel confident with manareg of 2 dorans (+- Athenes) but u could also go for points in mediation if u really think u need more manareg

Tier 4 // Dangerous Game: this can be very helpful at all stages of the game

Tier 5 // Precision: even more HPEN, i like

Tier 6 // Thunderlord's Decree: Try proc it on CD in laning phase

best item to spam your spells throughout the game

i rly like them over sorceress boots on karma

dmg, good for poking, and even the MS is rly nice

get this as your 3rd/4th item, except your targets got no MR

gives you time for reload your spells, helps with ults like zed ult,...
vs full ad comps or zeds u can get this as 1th/2nd item. can also be used mid mantra W for not dying mid chain.

This is the "standard" way to go for me.

Still, i recommend to not follow this by 100% of the time.
Sometimes u wanna start E, depends on how safe u feel vs ur lane opponent.

if u get chunked early u can also W second for mantra some life back and be more on the safe side.

at level 4 u could take a second point into E if u feel unsafe, or just go straight for the Q max.

tips

how to take use of ur mantra: best way to use ur mantra in lane is if u W chain ur enemy, u wanna follow up with a mantra'ed Q so he cant really get out of the 2nd proc.
if u getting low hp, mantra W ur opponent.
also remember that when teamfighting or getting low hp near jungle camps, u can back off to heal up with a mantra W on a big jungle monster, and get back to fight!

your E: very nice tool to just upfront chase for autos (the shield will sorb dmg from minion aggro as well), keep enemy in W distance, dodge skillshots, bring out that last metre for hit ur Q, save lifes, buff chasers like voli,........

use your passive: remember that autoattacks and spell hits on champions reduce ur mantra CD.
