Introduction

Hi, i'm Trueorigin currently Plat 5 on the NA server. When i first played this game i saw this champion called Karma which I loved everything about, I mean I knew she was the perfect one for me so I saved every bit of my ip for her, but enough about me you're here to learn so...

Lets Begin

Runes

Hybrid penetration marks because you usually get auto attacks in when your q is on cooldown and this helps you get a bit more damage which is useful since you are aggressive in lane. Flat health or scaling health seals are fine but I prefer the flat health since usually in the laning phase you have to be up and poking them and this little bit of health could save your life. Scaling magic resist glyphs because you need to be able to survive in fights especially if they have an ap assassin lets say . 1 Armor Quint because the enemy adc does attack damage so you get a slight resistance when poking, then 2 Ability power Quints since all of your abilities scale with ap

Press the Attack
Lethal Tempo

Masteries

Well this is simple i run Windspeaker's Blessing because its a free form of defense for your team since in fights you usually spam Mantra -> Inspire everyone gets the armor and magic resist and your shield is 10% stronger which is just perfect.

Spells

Firstly, well flash because you don't really have an escape although your e gives you that movement speed and shield it may not be enough. And exhaust is just to weaken the enemy making them almost useless.

Pros / Cons

Pros of :~ High damage output, a mixture of almost everything in her kit, ult advantage(you'll get it at level 1) , Empowerment of spells from your ult
Cons of :~ Countered by cc, only one form of hard cc, quite squishy, takes more skill than it seems.

Skill Sequence

First you max Inner Flame because its your main source of damage and your role as karma in the laning phase as support that is, is to poke your enemies making them use a flash, heal or even some of their spells Sivir's Spell Shield as an example. Inspire is maxed second because it reduces cd and increases the damage absorbed by the shield and the movement speed given to your allies. Then you max Focused Resolve last because the damage and root duration goes up but its only a single target spell so not too good to max 1st or 2nd

TeamFighting

Mantra + Inspire is a great way to engage and disengage in a fight its so beautiful you can say it's a shield for everyone as long as they are within the radius of the cast, your job is to protect while dealing a decent amount of damage and providing some utility to the members of your team. Try to stay a bit back but not that you can't shield and do some dps.

Ganks

When you are getting ganked just use mantra + Inspire on you so you would both get the buff do the same when you get a gank from your ally it is a good way to engage and its almost a free kill if you do this.

Unique Skills

Karma is the only support well the only one i know that can shield every ally on your team if they are within the radius i find this very unique. The Mantra ability also unique because your abilities become empowered, which i find very strong since this can allow her to have a stronger impact on the game than most supports
Back to Top

Outplay Potential

This is something quite rarely seen but if you are low or under your tower and close to a jungle camp here is a trick you can do... use Mantra -> Focused Resolve on the jungle minion and you heal. This also works for dives which allow you to pick up some free kills while leaving enemies in shock about the amount healed.

Roaming

When/Why to roam: If the enemies have backed, that is a good sign to roam, try to apply pressure on mid lane. you'll most likely get a kill or a flash which could get your team ahead. An easy Focused Resolve -> Mantra -> Inner Flame could make it a really successful gank.
