This is my first build. I'm making it because the builds for karthus for domination on this website are so horrid that it makes me want to sickup. Now what are the things that make a good dps character. Wait isn't Karth a caster. eenntt!!! wrong! Karth's 3rd ability matched with his first make him a dps character. what make a good dps champ...lifesteal, attack speed, attack damage, and a good slow. So for Karth we start with items for spell vamp and ability power(WoA) , and a good slow(rylais) , your masteries and runes take care of the cooldown. Masteries give you a 24% decrease in cooldowns and your runes give you another 6%, 30% cooldown is outrageous.
Gotta have ability power. Wish they had spell vamp runes, but they don't so it's ability power and cooldowns. I get armor seals so I can get those nasty dps champs after my WoA.
Some people like to go with the offencive masteries instead of utility, but you can buy items to get you the things in offence. utility is better because it means you dont have to waste money on mana regen items early and can get more spell vamp and ability power items. which is good. You get 24% cooldown reduction with the masteries I show you. that means more 24% more ults. :)
People expect karth to run, we dont run, we stand like a pillar amid 5 champs spell vamping them all and then ulting and lay about with our Q upon death. Speaking of chasing, Rylai's Crystal Scepter plus Will of the Ancients plus Defile makes karth one of the best carries in the game. Defile and Lay Waste both let you attack someone hiding in a bush...Which is AWESOME. At the very least get a Rylai's Crystal Scepter and buy a moonflair spellbalde for the extra survivability, that tenacity plus slow comes in handy when 4 or 5 guys are on your tail. For some reason no one buys the Moonflair Spellblade. Why not? The Moonflair Spellblade is 1200 bucks and the tenacity is the difference between undead and dead. Another option is to get Will of the Ancients across the board. think about it 4 Will of the Ancients equals 100% spell vamp.
I get all three abilities off the start. Max my Q. Max my E. Then Max my W. Lay Waste gives you the most damage output for mana cost and Defile gives you a ton of damage but will suck too much mana if leveled early.
You have to get clarity.you just gotta. Karth sucks mana like mad crazy.
Ghost is awesome in dominion. great for running your *** off or running down squishies with defile.
Flash is viable, but not as good as ghost in my opinion. ghost lets you stay within casting range as you run or chase while flash is too hard to navagate while using lay wastes at the same time.
Pros / Cons
- enhanced minimap visability make Requiem amazing.
- once you have Will of the Ancients you can solo dps champs that think you are a caster. lolz.
- Karth is so powerful it hurts.
- DPS karth is unexpected.
- If you die on their tower they don't seem to realize you have death defy like in a normal game. weird?!?!?
-can't fight Ahri, or Morgana one on one. Dam Morgana to the pits of hell! !#$! her stupid spell cage ****olla! aaaaahhhhh! die you hell *****! ps- dodge morgana's spell cage and get close to her with defile and she is screwed.
