Introduction

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS!!

Hello. I am Carborane, and while searching through the Karthus builds on the website, I noticed that none of them really... Well... Do what I think is best.

I have not gone a game with karthus were I have gone negative. I'm serious! In games that my team loses horribly, I'm still positive. This means when my team wins, I carry with an iron fist.

Runes

Honestly, I don't think runes do very much for gameplay. I would suggest the runes specified above if you really feel you want/need them. I go for a bit of mana regen for early then ap/lv for late game ap, not like it matters much.

Summoner Spells

Here's one of the major places that I feel people could change their build up at. The reason I choose Ghost and Exhaust is because I feel they are the most useful of any spells for Karthus. Perhaps you could replace Ghost with Flash but i don't.

I chose Ghost because it can be used very aggressively or defensibly. Use it to run into a fight, position yourself in the middle of everybody while using all of your abilities, chase down somebody who is running, or just to rush to a tower attack/defend it. I feel as if this is better than flash because the CD is a lot shorter AND you gain more ground over time than flash.

I chose Exhaust because it too, can be used very aggressively or defensibly. First off, Note how It reduced the damage that the target does as well as slows them. When going for an early first kill in mid, and you're opponent isn't running, just slap this on them and you surely will jump ahead in damage. This can take all the burst out of alot of champions. Maybe you are getting chased though! Simply slap this baby on the person chasing you. If there are multiple, either don't use it or put it on the biggest threat. If it is just one chasing you, you could even turn on them and attack them with this one them. They will never see it coming.
