I play with Karthus since quite a long time and something you forgot to exilian is the passive: you described it well, but the spells you cast after death cost you absolutely NO mana. You should maybe consider saying to put on defile right away when you die, then wall them so they can't go far away from you, bombing them hard or using requiem if they killed you "close one" style. I do this really often and this passive can drive mad ANY player !

A very nice build. I bought Karthus today and was was using another Karthus build for a few games but was just not doing enough damage/not enough mana. This build solved that.

I believe he has not yet updated the guide since the patch. I was going to ask about that as well. Any chance you will be updating the advanced guide to reflect on the latest patch? I really love playing AP characters and play Annie, Ryze, Veigar, and look forward to buying Karthus.

Why not Rabbidon's deathcap? It is similar to Zhonya's *HOURGLASS NOW* Just without the Stasis activation, which is dificult for some of the newer players to grasp (pressing a number key) BUT... I must admit, a truly INGENIOUS guide! Respec!

Great build mate, I just got a 18/6/4 at twisted treeline, I ended up with 811 Ap and flew through them all^^ Made Fiddlestick ragequit

great guide i just bought Karthus last night i usually play morde and olaf so this will be quite a change for me any tips you can give to a guy usually playing a dps 2nd carry or battle tank? i know my style will have to change .. also any advise on the order of leveling Karthus's abilities?

Well i have bhought him for a while ago.. and i played 4 games all like 2 kills and 5-6+ deaths.. and now i tried another one and it suckt.. 12 kills and 19 deaths hehe :P but then i tried this one and i got like 11/6-7/7-8
